I've just placed another Vistaprint order, this time I got a free personalised mug, notebook and matching pen for my niece. I also got a free personalised canvas bag for my Mum. I paid £4 something for the postage but I imagine the parcel would be heavy with the mug included, so I don't think that's too bad. I think my niece will love the bright pink mug, notebook and pen set with her name on and I can't wait to see them!

Oooh, I'm so excited for the challenge tomorrow. My house is full of boxes piled everywhere ready for moving next Friday and I've been sorting, emptying and cleaning everywhere I can think of so I'm not even scared of any cleaning challenges!

My 2 year old son has requested something for Christmas - an elephant! Usually he asks for a toy elephant (which he already has several of!) but sometimes he insists he wants a real one  He's elephant obsessed at the moment, when I asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said an elephant :rotfl:!!!

Oh I havent noticed the free mugs on there. I may have to order that in addition to my Grandads calendar for him for xmas. £4 odd sounds like a bargain to me! How did you get so many free itmes in one go? Did you add one to basket then enter website again do next one etc?

Aw bless him! Maybe you could sponser/adopt an elephant or something for him and tell him Santa did get him a real elephant but knew you didnt have enough space for him and its not fair to live on its own so its been put in another place for him?
  • Nicky - Ahh bless! Aren't they funny at times?

Fedup - I knew too, you'd get the Asda stuff - you can't beat a bargain! We've trained you well! LOL ;)

    Hello again Pinkflop. :)

CDSmiler - You are very clever just doing Avon with only friends and family. I've just delivered the Avon order (over two evenings) during thunderstorms, hail stones, rain, sunshine (for 5 minutes) and a lightening storm. I think the only thing we didn't get was snow.

Off topic - I have had trouble with DD's teacher this week. Poor DD usually skips into school, she's not liking it at all at the moment and cries herself to sleep.

  • Morning, I'm dead excited about the challenge too!

I'm off to work in a bit but will try and have a peek at it when I get home so I can get started over the weekend.

I have ordered this for my little boy http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-rocking-animal-randolph-reindeer/6449792/type-i/ and pick it up tomorrow, I had a £5 off voucher too so got it for £30. He will love it!
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • Oh well done Gotit! He will love that - I know it, and what a bargain!

I ordered OH's TV last night, I was ordering DD's too but it was out of stock. We were looking at Asda yesterday, but I bought it from Tesco's instead. £7 cheaper for the next size up plus 780 clubcard points (worth about £30 in deals). I just hope dd's tv comes back instock before the bonus voucher expires 10th Oct.

Thanks everyone for commenting on Elysia's troubles. It may have been a misunderstanding, but you can never tell when you're only getting one side of the story! She's been told to stand up for herself. By me AND the teacher. Hopefully it's sorted, as she was happy again today. :)

Sugarspun. LOL. I know it's disgusting! How very dare they indeed! ;) I was sat on here until ten to three this morning waiting for it. :rotfl:I couldn't sleep really!
