I have lurked around your thread for at least a couple of years:D
I used to have all xmas stuff ready & wrapped by October but things fell by the wayside and haved done for quite some time....:o
So afterbeing given a little inspiration from here (quite a lot actually), I am armed & ready for action...;)
I make all my own cards, using a computer programme & my fair hands of course & I like to make up individual pressies for both birthdays & xmas... but for as little ££ as possible!! Lurking on here has given me heaps of new ideas:T So Thank you everyone!
I will be back..... :cheesy:"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇0 -
Went to a quilt exhibition yesterday with my SIL and they had a tombola, I won a prize which looked like one of those portable alarm clocks in a box but didnt open it till I got home. On opening it I found its a lovely watch and bracelet set and it looks brand new although the receipt inside was stamped 2004 so the battery has run out. I will take it up the town next month and get a new battery put in and check it works then I can give the set to my eldest daughter towards her birthday. The watch is Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds which is the perfume she had out at the time. Just hope it works, if not she can still have the bracelet, I will just have to put it in a different box.0

I have a feeling, when the kids go back to school, it's going to be busy on here!

Rufus, well done on your prize! I hope the watch works. Did you get any inspiration from the quilt show? I'd be terrible, I'd want to make it all, get home and lose motivation.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Just got some more bits for 2 x gardening hampers in the final sale at Mr S online and in store
2x planters and cane supports - £2.99 from £5.99
Stainless Steel 4 piece Garden Tool Set £12.49 from £25
1 x Leather Gauntlets £1.49 from £5.99
So far the hampers cost £16.99 (full price cost £42.94) for one and £19.93 (full price £48.93)
I am really pleased with these and there is only one garden stool left to get but I can't find one anywhere yet, plenty of time left to find one
That's 4 hampers more or less done now with only a few bits left to get
2 main presents bought
another main present left to get and then its onto the HM presents
I've got some booze in ready for the Christmas cakes later on, as I didn't want to buy it all in one go, and I'm stocking up on chutney making items with only a few bits left to get over this month
Overall going well over the last 4 weeks :jfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
