    Hi all

Mum2One - I don't know what I'm going to have to do with you and DD, perhaps you both need to be in quarantine for a while :) to make sure you are able to go on your holiday.

I laughed about your dad and the shorts in Evans. And you at the bank!

Decorating Jars - I remember using gold relief pen long ago on some jars, no idea what I did with them.

Well done everyone on all your bargains.

Elysia you can get the electronic game, microphones and a few other bits all you need is 15 tokens plus £1, and as you would buy bread its not anything extra on the weekly shop. I have found Iceland doing to loaves for £1.50 (White and brown), you also get them on the muffins ( 2 for £1), crumpets (2 for £1) and Pancakes (2 for £1) so you soon get enough tokens especially if you go through bread like we do LOL:rotfl:

Thanks for the info Sarah - I've had a look and will definately be switching to kingsmill. DD2 will love it, she likes anything that gets the whole family involved. The voice changing microphone sounds good for a laugh too!

Clare, glad you you enjoyed your show. I think I've been to Hammamet too. It was me that mentioned all the jars. I have some relatives that always make lots of jam and they insist they you can't re-use the lids so send away somewhere for lots of new ones. What are your views on this - I'd never heard of such a thing until they said about it.

I've never heard that.... I always stick the jar and lid in the dishwasher, and then so the usual oven trick with the jars themselves before filling them with jam. Why do they say you can't reuse the lids?

CDsmiler - now I realise why I've not been paid by GFK! You only get entered into a draw - have been doing it since July and not won a penny. So, I've sent them to my Junk folder. ;)

How often do you do the surveys? I've always done quite well out of them....

mum2one - thanks for that! Le Saphir is the sister to Hammamet Village! Quite nice sharing facilities between two hotels -all the more to enjoy! I've copied and saved all your advice though and will refer to it in a few years probably!

Love to Miss Hoodie - at least she's timed her illness better this time!

It's my birthday tomorrow ladies.......doing nothing special - just fish and chips tomorrow night. Having a relaxed carvery out on Saturday then to my parents with all the family to watch (or endure for some poor members! lol) Eurovision! hehe score cards at the ready (and plenty of alcohol....).

Big Birthday wishes for 2mor....... thats weird both staying at the same hotels, thou when we went last yr, they Saphir was closed. LOved the rooms at the Hammamet they were massive, never forget the last time we stayed my friend was next dr to me I had the end room (with the additional seating / bedding massive rm), went to hers, then realised you could see through the woodwork on the window, in theory was ok as the window was in the seating area bit, but then carrried on looking, and you looked through the arch and it was in to the bedroom, she kept wondering why this one male cleaner was hanging around, we had the most spoltless outside, there was us, with black plastic bag and sellotape trying to stop anyone peeping in.

Use to love Saphir, it was all designed for English, and Sunday ngt was roast night......

Happy birthday CDSmiler! Whatever you get up to - have a lovely time. :bdaycake:

I didn't realise the Eurovision was on Saturday! I'll have to stock up on painkillers to dull the agony they put us through. :rotfl:

I was 11 when Bucks Fizz won. I loved Johnny Logan too (Ireland - only person to win twice). I am so sad, when I was 18 I saw him in concert. I do love it though. ;)
