Been a quiet day, was meant to be taking dd and 2 friends (started off as 1) to our local IceCream faem by Chester, but the weather forecast was snow, from 4pm us, texted my mate she lives in Chester - said the main roads are bad enuf, never mind the side roads, and the snows due.....so dd refused to speak to me for 2 hrs, threw a strop for England, till I explained to her about the accidents I've had... (2 write offs, 1 crunch, 2 emergency stops -got hurt + an accident on a bus!, fell over in a supermarket) after that she was ok, she was with us for the last accident, and rhink she then realised how dangerous would be, so have promised to take her when the weathers better.
Been very productive - sent dad up in the loft with 4 bags of goodies ready for 2010 presents, haven't got any birthdays to mid Feb. they can stay there to then.
DD knitted her 1st pair of gloves (with a bit of help), she had a knitting kit, and their pattern the gloves looked like an 80s reject of a sweatband, so just extended the pattern, when it got to the fluffy wool, I had to do it... but she did well so is proudly wearing the gloves in the house!! Much to Baileys delight as he thinks he shoudl have them!!
Everyones doing so well with their bargain hunting.
Had an email from Marks and Spencers they've added an extra 30% off certain sale items, online only, next stop........ xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Boots didn't really impress me too much today although my auntie got her grandson a lovely coat half price but we had to get him a size bigger then he is as there was 2 cm difference on arms and body so the age 3-4 years would last less then 2-3 months where as this one may last 4 or 5 months lol..

sarah - just reading all that nearly wore me out.........
Do sit down, have a glass of wine (not coffee else you'll be off again) put your feet up and do your New Years Resolutions............thats if you do them.
I do the same ones every year normally:
Be more organised (works for the first month or two)
Deal with mail as it arrives............( ditto)
Do things instead of thinking about them
I've added to this years........
Write more letters to people I don't see
Don't put off going to see friends or family
Have my hair done once a month (avoiding bad hair days)
Drag my water colours out and have a little session once a week (before I forget how to do it)
I'm leaving it there.........too many I'll never do but these are at least achievable and in between I just might flick a duster around...................lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I cant find any bargains anywhere. Most places in Hartlepool seemed to of started the sale before Christmas and Ive missed out on it all. Managed to pick up a tatty teddy money box and a special edition teddy bear for £10 which Ive put away for my niece as she is mad about them and also picked a couple of bits that I really wanted for people from Boots. Hope to pick up a few more in the 75% sale if I can get the time of work to get to the store. Most of the stuff I really want are sold out online.0

Bought 6 bone china Christmas mugs in Waitrose for £9 today which is fairly good I thought; they would look great filled with homemade chocolates and biscotti and wrapped in pretty cellophane.
I was shocked to see a glass jar of biscotti selling for £8 in the TK Maxx sale yesterday!!!!0 -

Oh I must steal borrow these!!! Particularly the writing one. When I was in America, I wrote at least 2 letters home (to various people) a week and have got very lazy in keeping in touch, so will hopefully fix this, Thanks xx0
