Well as yesterday was a holiday..... Then no you wouldn't get a delivery.
Mail centres only opened at midnight last night,. so mail was pretty light today, maybe that's why u didn't have a delivery today.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
We didnt get any post for a few days but figured since i could not get to my wheely bin without going !!!!! over t1t then the postman wouldnt really be coming round to deliver letters......
My postman is really nice and he turned up tuesday 22nd with some letters and i gave him a Xmas Card for him and his family.....he was really happy and said it was the only card anyone had given him on his rounds.
Plus he knocked on the Wednesday 23rd to ask if i could take a parcel in for next door as they were not in and he was worried they would miss out if it was an Xmas Prezzie....he is a really nice guy!Recently moved to South Wales

The next delivery lady managed to deliver my sale items, but no post from the Royal Mail.
Athough, I wouldnt mind if it stayed like that for a while - new clothes and no bills landing on the mat, now that is the season of goodwill !!!light bulb moment: 30.08.08!!0 -

I would just like to say how fantastic my postman was during the bad weather, mind you he is throughout the year too, we live in down a farm track up in the hills and when we have a parcel delivery he leaves it in a safe place so we do not have to go and collect the parcel from the sorting office but during the bad weather he left his van on the main road and then walked across the one car road at the top of where we live and then down the farm lanes to make sure we got our deliveries. A bottle of wine for his troubles did not seem enough but he seemed pleased even though he looked so cold.Jan lunch to work days 0/200

Well Kitekat, they are either catching up with backlog of packets. Trying to deliver at new times to get people home. Or the snow/ice has been so bad during the day that the poor postie has been out until that time :eek:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
