Some people have no empathy!
Actually I'm not dude, but hey! I had to get up to London yesterday for a hospital appt, and I am in a wheelchair. If I can get to places, surely Royal Mail can.
By the way, they did come today - apparently they have had a lot of staff not coming in!!!!!!!Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -

What is your problem? I have MS and HAVE to use the the internet to buy all my Christmas gifts etc. I therefore have to rely on the Royal Mail, which has not been good as of late. Why are you having a go at me because I'm disabled?Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -
yes thats right thats the real reason i posted, please dont even try and play the disabled card
should we all stop living now to ensure your orders are delivered?0 -
Sorry, but if u have ordered stuff to come in the last few days b4 xmas.....
We had another driver crash the van on black ice today. Luckily again he wasn't hurt. But as long as you get ure mail.
And just for the record. We've had no one call in sick. No one call in because of public transport. And only about half a dozen addresses marked as inaccessible. Luckily those people had a four wheel drive or they would still be waiting.
Do you really expect people to risk their life to get your parcels to you? Remember these parcels maybe coming from places that have worse snow than u do.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

Well, can you get to places or can't you?No one's having a go at you for being disabled. If you knew you were going to order all your presents online, it might have been a good idea ordering a wee bit earlier than you have done. That said, I understand your frustration. I normally cut things fine myself.
PS I went outside today to put the bin out. Our street hasn't been gritted (mm, that council tax was a bill worth paying) and I nearly fell over and hurt myself several times. I got more mail today and I have no idea how our postie walked down our street. I only managed a few metres.0 -

There is a difference between having to get to a hospital appointment, and doing a load of shopping. You have to go to one, but the other is very difficult.
It does suck having to rely on Royal Mail. I do feel for them in this weather though."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
I saw our council gritting paths yesterday... except they were gritting the side of the road where there's virtually nothing, and ignoring the side where all the shops are and all the pedestrians walk. On the same route home in the evening, they still hadn't bothered gritting the busy side. :rolleyes:There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0
