New Ford Fiesta anyone??

We've recently got a 57 plate 1.25 and over last 6 weeks are only getting about 29mpg

I bought a brand new 1.25 Zetec Fiesta back in 07 as an 'economical runabout'. It averaged 28mpg overall and only early 20's around town. Wouldnt care, but it was as dead as a doornail too. I had to switch the aircon off to overtake!!

Mine is the new shape fiesta at the time! It's a 1.3. How many miles do you get out of the tank?
I don't find that is a problem at least no more so than any other cars I have driven. It's really annoying when there are people on the other side of the road! I find that their lights blind me and it is rather uncomfortable getting my eyes used to the dark again!

I have an 06 1.4 Zetec, when I used to run it on petrol (uses LPG now) it would get 40mpg with a mixture of town and motorways.
