Well I'm sure she will explain. I mean I don't look like a Grandad. I look a lot younger.
You only have to be 33 and a half to be a legal grandad.
Believe me, you will look like a grandad, what makes you think different,
your 50 !!!!!!.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0

Tell your wife you need to think about things and then go off to the 'Other Woman'. For a road test.
Don't forget how much fun it is to watch footie on Boxing Day with a load of over excited kids.0

If you are 50, and she is 25, in charge of a a large department, and a single mum, then she is a busy lady!
Maybe she just wants a babysitter/handyman/cook/cleaner/grandad figure?

Try to sort things out Paulpat, you could bitterly regret it if you don't. What about the reaction of your children and grandchildren. Once you take that path, just remember that EVERYTHING will change. You will not be able to gauge the reaction of others, but it is guaranteed you will lose a lot of people you hold dear. Even if they do not intend to judge you they may end up supporting your wife more, if she needs it. You will be poorer, you will need to accept that. 50 is a difficult age, I should know!!! It is a time we look back and start to realise that certain things are gone forever. We look forward and are not sure what the future holds - but whatever it is, it doesn't seem very exciting. You need to think long and hard about all the implications before you do anything. Take care.

 Shame on you Paul
It isn't as easy is it seems. I was made bankrupt about 10 years ago (hence the rented house) and she stuck by me. It is also a very difficult time of the year to leave her especially if I am reading all the wrong signals from the girl at work. I mean what if she just sees us as friends and wants to help me out with the spare room. Do I ask her out first? I really don't want to end up homeless.
