Ok got my tin today (1found it in a £ shop, lovely picture of a kitten on it but cannot be opened
)
It cost 99p so was going to put a pound in to 'cover' it but have decided to put £3.00 in for today until the end of the year as a sort of incentive.
Not quite sure how I'm going to do it yet as don't know if will be £ a day (hard if I'm trying for no spend days) or put a few in at a time and mark off on a calender. Am hoping to devise a 'method' as I go along so any ideas very welcome

Please can i join too - i never save any money but have this year after 6yrs hard work sorted my credit file out and am now credit worthy and it feels really good. I don't have much spare cash when i get paid on a Friday but am gonna try n put £7 a week in when i get paid as i never carry any cash on me. I've cut a coin slot in a quality street tin and sealed the edges with black tape, and have glued the lid on - i'm very very determined just need the willpower to last.
Good luck everyone xA home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -
