sorry didn't get back sooner, they are just tins that you have to open with a tin opener when you have filled them up, great, I think mine is High School Musical, but don't care what's on it just want to fill it up.
No worries, thanks for answer, I'll pop along tomorrow and see what they have in my local one - I'm not going to start till 1 Jan so got a few days to find one
Thanks to the OP for updating the list.
Am planning to live out of my storecupboard/freezer for the next month or so to get me started on this.0 -
I'm not going to start till the 1st, then that way it really will be 365 days till i open my jar
Will be really useful, as i have a lot of birthdays in Jan (mine included)

I'm doing the same as you Pink (hope you dont mind me calling you Pink!!??) as we have 3 birthdays in Jan too, inc mine.
Looks like the terramundi is being used by the family for £2 coins again so I think i'm going to use a tall Sanctuary gift box - I can't seal it and put a hole in but it has a lid and is strong (ready for all those coins :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Roll on Jan 1st!0 -
Have decided to start today as am back at work from today too, so first £1 in the pot.
If anyone is looking for the tin money boxes got mine from Poundstretcher (99p), probably not very MSE but don't want to be tempted by anything I can open.0 -

Have been on this site for a while and have never joined in anything like this, probably because I am rubbish at saving
I start off with good intentions then after a few months I open the tub up! Not the way to go I know but if I am on here with the rest of you I'll be more motivated. I did think about the 10k for 2010 but this one seems alot more realistic for me and my purseDMP support thread member 211 :cool:I'm only here to get some medals......honest!0
