If the rest of us have to give free postage, why do some people still get away with charging?

Seller states - I WILL NOT AS EBAY TELL ME - POST FOR FREE - UK POSTAGE WILL BE 2 QUID - RECORDED

They don't get away with it they try. They get less customers and risk the chance of someone refusing to pay postage negs etc.

And presumably if you list in Australian dollars, you can circumvent the system? If I buy this and refuse to pay the postage, will eBay come down on my side when the seller gets shirty?

I always gave free postage. Now my selling point has been undermined.

please note the booklet [ intact ] has pen written , in pen numbers on it 266 + 288

If it's got penmarks in it, it's not bloody intact, is it :rolleyes:

I notice the seller has 100% feedback & reasonable star ratings for postage, buyers seem to be happy to pay the extra. No point in reporting them though eBay seem to have a lack of interest in doing anything about it
