  • Hi Lula

What a brilliant idea. Count me in for £100. TBH I have no idea what I spend on clothes in a year. Can't wait to get started.

    Thanks

Can I also add another £100 for my OH as he never chooses his own clothes(!!!!!) and leaves it to me!!He has just changed jobs so needs to look smart every day....he previously worked in a factory for 34 years so he never needed to bother about clothes----he just wore clothes he had had for years and his overalls!!!!!!!!
    Thanks :)

Please sign me up. I think this is a very acheivable challenge for me, have done the sales and got stocked up for the year (£60), shouldn't need anything else. I'm also thinking of sewing/refitting/altering clothes I already have.
  • Can I sign up please - never tried this one before. I've got lots of smaller clothes in my wardrobe that I will be fitting into at some point this year, I've also got £70 in vouchers that can be for new clothes for me during the year. So my budget will be £30 for me and £170 for my 2 boys (Grand total £200). This will be interesting for me as I will need to save most of this for the school uniform in September!!!

  • OMG I have just cleared out my pre-baby "i will fit into these by next Christmas clothes". Well next Christmas has been and gone - and I have put them all on an e-baying pile (prob go on next weekend). So if anyone is a short, small chested 12-14 do let me know and you can have 1st pickings. There is all sorts white shirts (button up), t-shirts, jeans, trousers, 3 corsets (2 never worn and 1 worn once.), a summer dress (i think), couple pairs of shorts/ crop trousers.

Am in Sheffield if that helps. Tho postage could be negotiated.

And on the plus side i still have tons of clothes that do fit so shouldn't need to buy anything.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • Hi! I would like to join in with an aim of £100 for the year. Good Luck everyone! :)

  • Hi

I am very new to the boards but would love to join in, I waste loads of money on last minute buys as I never have anything to wear!!!! which is not true and then regret buying my impuse buy as I wear it once and don't like it.

Hi Lula, I would also like to join up please if thats ok? I did get a Next voucher for Christmas which will give me a cheeky head start though. I *think* I'm quite restrained when it comes to clothes buying but it will be interesting to keep track and see if I'm deluding myself! Good luck all x
