Well I'm off out shopping with my friends tomorrow, but hopefully I'll manage to resist buying anything! Not long until my birthday though, so maybe I can convince someone to buy me something if there is something i really want - hehe!Sealed Pot challenge #508

Evening All,
Just to update you all that I have yet to break into the budget.
I am trying to be organized :rotfl:and actually tidy and purge if necessary my wardrobe and drawers. That way i can see what am i likely to be needing in the next few months, and this way I can stay away from the impulse buying as i will know what i already have.
May be by cleaning out the wardrobe - which is also involving repairing and pressing before items are returned, i will not need to buy much:j

Hi all,
Well, I went to M&S yesterday to return some stuff and....... I picked up three Per Una items that I thought I absolutely HAD to have... Then I remembered Lula's tip about wandering around the shop clutching them for a while until the urge to buy wore off..... and I realised I already had very similar items virtually unworn so put them back..
Lula - you saved me my £100 and more - thanks :A
So, I've still spent nothing and, as a bonus, I got a refund of £50 on Xmas presents which is going to pay off some of my cc balance.
Well done to everyone resisting the urge and well done to everyone else for some brilliant bargainsThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I have only spent £1.99 so far on a top from ebay, an ex-river island summer top. That includes postage.
I am due a big spend next month though, its my birthday so I am going to treat myself to a new dress. I will however get round to selling any unwanted items on ebay.
A tip for anyone out there, my friend recently gave me a big pile of clothes she no longer wanted, she used to work in retail so had to buy clothes from the shop for uniform. I am making her a jewellery set in return from beads I already have, so it resulted in a nice pile of free clothes for me!Debt free wannabe

Hi everyone :hello:
Back from Southampton training course now, but not before a detour into the West Quay shopping centre! Am so proud of myself as managed to spend nothing, even though I could have easily blown the whole £100 plus more! I kept repeating the 'Crazy Clothes Challenge' mantra in my head and resisted everything!! :A
This will be a tough year, but together we can do it! Thanks Lula for setting the challenge!
Well done to those who haven't spent so far and Happy New Clothes to those who have! :T

quick question.
i have 3 corset/ basques to sell on ebay.......... is there a difference between the 2 words - i.e. in definition. don't want to get caught out.
thanks.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi there, I make corsets in my spare time and I think the defination is:-
A corset is made to be tightened by lacing which is used to shape and support the body and a basque is a close fitting bodice but does not offer the support as a corset does.
I don't know what type you are selling but could you not put "corset type" or "basque type" so it will appear in the searches?
Hope you find this helpful
