  • Hi everyone! :hello:
I still havent spent anything on anything qualifying, spent £4.95 on a bra from Debenhams this morning, a bargain for my size! :rotfl:Might be an idea to check their sale out, somebody posted it on the grabbit board. x
  • Hula, I'm not that bad though; I do use discount codes and cashback as well as vouchers earnt through surveys etc. Anyway, I've managed to resist still so this thread is doing its bit. ;)

I am tryin to figure out whether this will count as part of my budget. Pre new year I brought two items adding up to 15.00 which i am to return as soon as i loose the 8 inches of snow lol - the naughty people on the grabbit board have posted http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=12552&catalogId=20552&productId=1450798&categoryId=169507&parent_category_rn=165602
Now im trying to figure out whether this has to come out my £250 or doesnt count? lol.

NGLady they are really lovely and fab for a tenner. I guess the question is, do they go with stuff in your wardrobe? Would you wear them much. For me, personally, I don't wear heels a lot and so I can manage with the fancy heels I bought in my pre-MSE days.

However hot pink is very cool and would instantly make a casual outfit like jeans and top look fabulous. Which could mean it updates your wardrobe and saves you spending on more clothes which could mean that the £10 is worth it?????

I have been very lucky, a woman I work with gave me a pair of jeans which she never wore but don't fit her :j:j and she didn't want anything for them which was very kind of her.

I've been thinking of getting a new winter coat but would take out most of my yearly allowance  So instead will be restyling my existing coat. It is a black military style with brass-type buttons so I'm thinking of taking off the epalettes and the wrist things (like epalettes, not sure what they're called!) as they annoy me anyway and getting some gold braid to do some kind of frogging....should look fab if it works out how it looks in my mind!!!! :rotfl:
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Hello lysaparkles & welcome :hello:

will add you to the front page in minute.

Wow to redesigning new coat makeup :A I remodelled an almost new but onworn jacket last year & the amount of peeps saying they liked it & asking where did I get it was most gratifying :)

I'm very relieved to hear that you use numerous codes & sneaky MS devices Flickering Ember ... although I hate you :p for being able to spend money on fab items ( in a nice way of course ;)) you are actually spurring me on to pay off my debt as quickly as possible so that I can return to buying nice clothes & never have to darken the Primarni threshold again :j

PS - I returned a pair of boots to Faith today *polishes halo* & although I did look around for an alternative as urged by the assistant ... I didnt get anything. Ok I admit it, I was dragged out of the shop backwards by DD :rotfl:

Spent nothing so far, which is good for me.
I did want to go and buy a pair of suitable boot for the weather yesterday but my children's school was closed I didn't bother ( I thinking must have been a good thing though) I'll have to make do with my somewhat old but still useable older flat boots.
Sitting reading though the threads has made me think even more how much I actually have still a pair of trainers I bought to workout in, but rather do my exercises in my bare feet (I exercise at home :rotfl:) I have loaads of jeans some still have the tags on I have flat pumps not the most pretty colours in purple but I love purple.
Anyway I am ramberling I'll shut it now, I think it's good that so far I'm managing to say no even if it is because I have the children at home and no car at the moment to go to the town.
    Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
    Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:

    Nglady -
Lovely, but did you notice down the bottom of the page? 10% discount if you sign up to the newsletter? May not be applicable to that item but would save a bit extra???

    Hello all,

just popping in because I am bored really ... dangerously bored. I have reorganised my wardrobe, twice. Fed up with watching people emigrate to Australia or inherit cash from long lost relatives. Too cold & icy to go out & I'm now on the brink of wandering through online sales just for amusement ....

Now off to reorganize my shoes & boots ...

To all who are housebound : DO NOT GIVE IN TO ONLINE TEMPTATION :D

It's hard isn't it - still getting loads of sale emails from clothes places (and Boots can b*gger off with their half price sale too). I'm trying to distract myself by doing surveys instead - earn money not spend money!
