I am tryin to figure out whether this will count as part of my budget. Pre new year I brought two items adding up to 15.00 which i am to return as soon as i loose the 8 inches of snow lol - the naughty people on the grabbit board have posted http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=12552&catalogId=20552&productId=1450798&categoryId=169507&parent_category_rn=165602
Now im trying to figure out whether this has to come out my £250 or doesnt count? lol.Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Where are we at - 6th January and I've seen a nice cardi in Per Una - I was only trying to find the toilets! £30, BUT I have some M&S vouchers so will go back with those and with several matching skirts and make a decision.
I think the rest of the year could be charity shops :T

HOW MUCH????!!! is that in the last 6 days???that's such a lot, blimey! But then I guess you probably look fabulous and I look like a walking second hand shop!! :rotfl:
Yep, afraid to say I worked a bar job for a couple of months before Xmas, then hit the sales and spent all the wages from that..Which was the reason I got the job in the first place, so I guess I shouldbn't feel so bad lol..Would love to join in, but really don't have the self-control when it comes to shopping :S0 -

But just wanted to wish all on the thread good luck as I'm rly impressed!!
I've been good so far, and "only" spent £22 so far, on an essential set of lingerie, but I also couldn't do the challenge; my next planned clothing purchase is a £135 blouse.:o But reading this thread is inspirational and helping me be more disciplined. I really do admire everyone who is taking part though.0 -
Hi all, some good resisting going on!
Have to admit to a bit of temptation as have had the last two days off due to snow and those sale emails keep on coming in... but I've been good! Did need a new handbag but had a lovely surprise of one from OH as a birthday present so don't even need to buy that. I'm still thinking about the toiletries budget - might try for £50 for the year, I've got loads of make-up so shouldn't need to buy anything for ages, and got quite a bit of soap, samples of moisturiser etc lying around. We'll see! Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Think today might be a difficult one - payday and a day off eeek0
