I'm going to have to get some of my favourite Primark tights (£2) as I only have 2 pairs and end up wearing them every day. Curses on me saying I was going to include everything!0

Good luck everyone xxx
I tried last year but found all my local charity shops were really expensive, so went back to Primarni/Peacocks/Asda, setting my target to £75.00 (losing weight so will defo need new clothes!) I wont buy anything unless its been reduced twice and in the bargain bin lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck all xxxIt's nice to be important, but more important to be nice!!0 -
Now I am going to join this challenge but not sure what to do as its me and three kids. I do tend to get a few things from charity shops as I hate paying full price but even they are getting as much as the shop pricing!
I havent started well as I just spent £31.50 at matalan sale BUT this was £102 worth of clothes. Only a few items were for me though and most for my DD (and none for the lads lol)
So I will make a pact for £100 for myself
I got a couple of tops tha were marked as £2 and went through at £1
Just looking at the receipt and trying to work out what was me (non workwise or lingerie)
spent
£7.25 on lingerie (3 bras)
£3 on 3 school blouses - DDs
£2 on a school skirt - DDs
£12.75 on tops and trousers for DD but this is for our holiday
£6.50 on 4 tops for me :T
so £6.50 to declare for me already but a couple of tops for hols in July (this is where I struggle as I like to have new clothes for hols)
can't believe I spent £17.75 on DDs clothes but 3 school blouses and a skirt cant be bad and 2 trousers and 3 tops!!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
EMFD was Feb 32  NOW Dec 2013 its Dec 2016
MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
nothing for me today
and have sorted a HUGE bag of clothes for e-baying and a huge bag for (well not sure really - its really only good for material...... may sell it for craft purposes).
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Helloooooooooo!
Please can I join too?
I will go for £100 too. Wardrobe is rammed.....whether it all fits is a completely different story!!
This year I am going to do a 1 in 1 out system, so if I buy 1 top I have to get rid of 1 top. Hoping it might put me off once I get down to favourites!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Hi everyone,
& welcome to pammyj74, will add you to the list in a minute.
learn2cope - got to be honest; I'm with bethg2009 when it comes to charity shops. If primarni are doing them cheaper (& they dont smell funny ) then I'd rather shop there.
Well everyone who has resisted & as luxor4t says ... only another 364 days to go :rolleyes:0 -
Thye charity shop by me is fantastic i've had some cardigans with tags still on @£45 for 2.99 and next jeans for £1.50
not bought any new clothes yet as had a few more for christmas, need to sort what i got in my wardrobe firstBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Please can you count me in? I want to spend no more than £100. I got motivated after fixing my only pair of trousers last night quite succesfully! Is there a thread about fixing/customising clothes too? Or is it all tied in to this one? i will need some new clothes very soon, but I'm so eager to have a great financial year!
