Hi, can I join please? I've already set myself a budget of £120 for the year (£10 per month) and that will include all clothes for work and home including accessories.
I currently have approx 9 pairs of long boots, 10 pairs of work shoes, 15 odd handbags, 6 winter coats and I could go on but I am depressing myself thinking about all the money I have spent!!!
Good luck everyone!0 -
Can I please join? I really don't need any clothes (well unless my diet is extremely successful ).

Hi Everyone,
I'd like to join please, although im rather scared about it!
I'm going to set a budget of £200 and thats for everything. My major weakness is impulse buying and buying the same item but in lots of colours. I also love PJ's, socks and warm comfy clothes
Luckily with my new job i wear a uniform, so i only wear "normal" clothes at weekends and after work.
When i was a nanny i went through so many clothes and also had the time to take the children out and would by-pass the shops, which lead to me buying things i didnt really need but wanted at the time.
My new job in a pre-school isnt near any clothes shops (just bakers, newsagents etc) and as i work shifts its difficult for me to get into town which is probably a good thing:rotfl:

This looks exciting can I join in please?
I have already set our budgets for all clothes, shoes, coats, undies etc at £20 pcm for each of us (me, hubby and 3yr old son). The plan is to record any spends on the calender and keep a running total. Aim is to beat hubby so that it makes it a bit more interesting!
I will sign up for the £100 personal clothing budget as set out in the first post to run alongside the family challenge'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -
I'd like to join too please
I'm not one for buying lots of clothes anyway (I don't have the money) but I do have the odd mad splurge like £70 for a date outfit I only wore once!
I'll go in for £100 but this is to include everything, work home and even underwear. The only thing I won't include is shoes.0 -

:rotfl:I've restitched my knick-knicks that many times I think I've probably actually made the darn things - and I think it is an indicator of how serious you are, so well done :T
(whenever I use the rolling smiley I always move the cursor backwards and forwards trying to catch it before I click - why *do* I do that, does anybody else do it or is it just me..........ok....just me then)

I can't believe I'm doing this.... feeling faint like Buffythedebtslayer (great name!)... I have previously thought nothing of spending more than £200 pounds on an outfit for a night out.. and then only wearing it once...hence my massive debts.
Gulp...Put me down for £200 in total - work and home stuff.
I've had my LBM this month and final figures not quite worked out yet, but I think about £11k on cards/overdraft that i want to clear in 2010, so have joined the £10k from £100 challenge and HAVE to do this one too!
Will update my signature when a) work out how to and b) have final figures.
Thanks for this - I'm perversely looking forward to it!!!
