    Morning everyone.
Diva - nice to see u back. Hugs. Such a shame about your friend - soo young!
    Poppytime - Happy Birthday!!
Pigpen - I'm not surprised you are tired - I don't know how you cope. Try to take some time out or you are just going to collapse in a heap after dinner on Christmas Day. (I know because I often do this:o - usually snore on the sofa throught whatever I was wanting to watch most)

Two days of work - grrrr! Managed to clean teenager pit yesterday but it will be a mess again by this afternoon in my absence:mad:.

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
    2. Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..? (Need to find the puddings to add them to timetable)
    3. Dust round the whole downstairs
    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    1. Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices! (ooh so close to a star _ will sweep the lot into a bag and do it at work today!)
    Wednesday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! (Xmas Eve dinner?)Fish pie I'll cook it !!tonight!!
    2. Make sure the remaining presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
    3. mop the kitchen
    4. mop the bathroom/s and loo's
    5. Clean the bath and shower and loo!
    6. Bake some mince pies and tarts etc.. yummies!!!
    7. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    8. Sort out the plan for christmas eve.. shop runs, present drop offs etc
    9. Catch up on the laundry again.. ironing is tomorrows job!
    10. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
    11. Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
    12. Vacuum the whole of the upstairs!
    13. wash windows through the whole downstairs if needed(they do but i'm out before the sun comes up and back after it's dark so we will have to live with it!!)
    14. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs(oh Pigpen knows about the teenager pit!!)
  • Good morning everyone  The concert in the pub went down very well. There was a good audience to start with but when we started singing the bar emptied into our room and it was standing room only :j It was the first time we'd done this event, but there are lots of calls for us to do it again :j

I know you all helped Soappie, so can you send "central heating repair vibes" this way please  It won;t come on and I can't light the pilot light  I'll set DH onto it once he's up :D

Do you want some big words SSL?

    - I once used PROSCRIBED and the person marking (and this was a Uni essay) - corrected it to prescribed - er NO it changed the tone of the entire paragraph - argh

 I use concomitant in a work report last year; my boss took out the whole paragraph - I don't think she knew what it meant :rotfl:

I have no intention of doing a single thing tomorrow.. I am so desperately tired I want to cry like a loony and I don't want to cook or clean or go shopping with my mother or wrap the remaining presents infact the most obscene thing is that if Christmas was to be cancelled this year I don't even think I would be so upset

Can you get some rest, or rope in some small people to assist  Take care, and hope you feel better soon :A
Do grit bins still exist - this has been a constant topic here for days. I'm thinking of another facebook campaign - bring back grit bins!

We have a Local Authority grit bin on the corner next to our house. Is it an endangered species :j

    Off to post my list.

Awww, Piggers, it's not like you to be depressed about Christmas...so do have a pyjama day - or at least a pyjama morning...

    Diva, hugs on your loss

Ashia hope you get your leak fixed soon

Oh Pen Pen - I'm sending oodles of get fixed quickly boiler vibes your way.

I think walking boots are the order of the day to get to work this morning. Probably won't get on the forum until the evening today so have a safe day people and those who are feeling stressed, please try and relax Christmas is only one day after all.
