    don't say I don't help!

Ooops, lost valli's post as well. 1,060.

Think I might have overdone the therefore, furthermore, indeed

I wonder if I can fit in proscribed somewhere  Nah. I'm doing a critique of a book by Joanna Blythman called Shopped:the shocking power of British supermarkets. She takes a fairly hard line but I think she would stop short of state sponsored murder. Or maybe not.

Yay JoJo :T:j:T:j:T WTG!! What are you studying?

Right, lets see if I can manage another 500 words tonight. The cider is definately helping :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thats what her profile says at the moment, but both Valli and I thought she was in Spain. I'm sure she was cos I was really jealous of her patio and all the stuff she grew on it :D

Quick question - is it safe to leave an oil filled radiator on overnight?

    g&b how is LO today?

Not too bad, still got a nasty cough and had a bit of a rash earlier so need to keep an eye on that. Still getting quite tired which is to be expected i suppose.

I'm officially pooped! Bathroom is lovely, just running myself a much deserved bath.

Jojo- well done on your OU result

House is FINALLY up to temperature throughout.
I'm pooped. That dangerous combination of a tummy full of lovely food and toasty warm after freezing cold has got me yawning once more.

I shall go to bed v. soon. Tomorrow's quite busy. I have work in the morning, am going to get the final bits and pieces with NN tomorrow afternoon then I need to nip up the road at some point to wish friend up the road a happy birthday and pop her present off. Then I need to make sausage rolls for the work thing on Christmas eve morning.

Have a lovely night if I don't speak to you later

I'm sorry i didn't do any christmas cards this year but i knew i'd never get them done in time between the kitchen, hubby not being well and DD having trouble at school. I wish you all a very very merry christmas.:xmassign:

We've recieved a lovely letter from CSA today and we have to go to court to sort this mess out. So need to get on the ball with that, we only have 28 days.

On a good note all presents got and food shop done, mummy coming up tomorrow morning so need to have all presents ready. We took all 4 kids to Lisburn yesterday and they got to see santa, which was there highlight of the day. DS2 wanted to go home as soon as he seen him.:rotfl:Then when i told them we had more to do today DS2 said 'i can't take anymore':rotfl:

Poor Rhys has got his first cold and the poor wee thing doesn't know what's going on, he keeps sneezing and rubbing his nose. The chemist said there was nothing i could give him except calpol.:(

We have another visitor coming for half 11 tomorrow and i need the house looking well so i should make a start except it's so flipping cold.

Right someone give me a shove of this sofa before i curl up in a ball and fall asleep.:p:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Doh! I thought you were near frodders, near the coast. I've just looked on a map, nowhere near! Have you ever had snow like this before GB?

I may have to re-think my idea about going into uni tomorrow

I've seen more snow than this, but not here... when I lived in Norfolk we had proper weather. Here it normally takes a couple of snowflakes for things to grind to a halt, so I'm not hugely surprised that yesterday's snow caused chaos. Generally I stay inside when it gets cold here, as no one knows how to deal with it!

Good thing I made up that hamper, as friend brought a pressie with her :D. She was going to stay longer, but her daughter called and said she'd left her purse in her mum's bag  with her ID and cash and was going out clubbing so we had supper (wild goose casserole followed by HM mince pies if anyone is interested) and then she took the mince pies home (I don't really like them and I'm not planning on being here much longer!

Called my brother who had rung for some reason

    Still have lots to do

DW on, and I'll need to do washing up AND another DW load tonight.

Also need to do my ironing and pack clothes.

Bother... just had a contract review come through to do... and I really don't understand it!

Went to see mum and put her necklace on. She asked where it had been and I just said I had been getting it fixed. She was over the moon as she thought it was the original one. Just pleased to see her happy again. I havent looked at the list today. I did hoover right through before I went out this morning and have done some washing tonight.

Keep meaning to add my congratulations to JASSA for the debt free status you now enjoy!
From what you've said you kept it quiet but have you any key 'dos and dont's' to divulge?

Didn't walk out on DH when I found out the extent of the debts (guess I'd buried my head in the sand)
MSE - followed Martin's advice (especially reclaiming tax, missing refunds when changing utilities, etc)
MSE - lurked on loads of threads eg 365 days without buying clothes (remember all the shoes I had?). Loads of HM projects
Took any temp/consultancy work I could
    Mini-bank statement EVERY day
And got the flat straight so things looked better thanks to Flyladies.

I could give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter!

Debt-free 21/12/09 and determined to stay that way - still DF 09/10/17
