    How big IS your bathroom?

I can do mine on my hands and knees in about 5 minutes, if that...

Not that big, however still bits of grout and stuff stuck from when hubby did the tiles. Plus it hasnt been done properly for a while so really needs it!

I have just come home from shopping to find lots of lovely Christmas cards from all you wonderful Flyladies. Thank you very much, I am really touched>

We set off today at 9.30, made it to the shops by 12 noon!! I had to climb quater of a mile down a snowy glacier/footpath to the car.

When we got back the men and boys all went with sledges to get the shopping to the house. It was great fun. Apart from the blizzard:)

Quick question - is it safe to leave an oil filled radiator on overnight?

AFAIK yes it is - I believe they are safer to leave on than many other types of portable heater, actually. They CANNOT give off carbon monoxide fumes, because they have no flames and they are MUCH safer than calor gas heaters etc. I used to leave mine on in my old house before we had heating there. In fact I bet my mum still has that radiator 'just in case'.

Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
    Mop the kitchen floor!
Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good!
get out any special christmas crockery and make sur eit is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
Prepare a list for that last second shopping
Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
Have a skim through the TV guide and decide what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! Don't forget to make time for Queenie!
Toy boxes can be banished upstairs!
Wash any soft furnishings in need of freshening up
Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
    WRAP WRAP WRAP!
Make a note of when the binmen are coming!!!
Spend half an hour doing NOTHING!!.. absolutely nothing!!!! Just sit.. and relax with a drink and a treat![/STRIKE]

    Cooker fixed by repairman.
    Everything wrapped.
    Organic box delivered.
French Onion Soup on the go.

Just have to sort out cash for week in morning (never want to be in situation where cash machines are empty and I need money - happened once, never again)

    Buy fish for Xmas Eve.
Get Soft Drinks and store on balcony as it will be plenty cold enough.
Start defrosting meats sitting on balcony - been there 4 days and still frozen solid.

Try not to strangle Bloke as he is following me around fussing about stuff that is already in hand.

Oh - my OU result is finally in - Grade 2 pass, and apparently in top 19% of country. A good honours degree is within my reach - assuming I actually get off my butt and do some work!

PW hope you manage to get your DD home ok, ferry might be a good idea as there was loads of flights being cancelled
Mudbth well done!! Sounds like you know him well. Lovely of your DD to offer them round.
    g&b how is LO today?
    Jojo well done

No grit left at the shop he tried but I found some commercial ice melt stuff in the shed, DP dug away the big bits of ice first. Haven't found any bins in the area yet, going to see if there is a list online of where they are. More flung, 4 more boxes cleared. Even if this will be probably the most skint/pants Christmas but at least I won't be at a funeral Christmas eve this year.

Going to find the presents I have this evening, I can't remember where I put some of them. Need to get the ones for WILs side wrapped as DP has agreed to take them there while I am out collecting meat & Charles (the Chameleon) on Christmas eve.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
