It's cold here again tonight although it's been sunny today. I hope all of you with snow / ice are safe. It's horrendous up at work (North Hampshire) so I am lucky it's the holidays but all the people I know up there are pretty much stuck and some have had power cuts.

I managed to get everything done that I needed to do in town - got there just before half 8 and was home by 11. Even treated myself to a brekkie in Mr T! Went to see dad this afternoon and have been pottering around since then.

pigpen - so sad to hear the news; my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends. I hope you aren't feeling too sore today

soappie - glad you have heat

    tickb - welcome

    juliejim - congrats

kazw - thanks for sharing; what an experience

    greenbee - congrats

    mudbath - brilliant plan!

hugs for mudbath, Toots, L-L and Diva and everyone else who wants one.

Now need to update my list ..............

Went to MrS this evening - blerdy disasterous - need to go again when I am able to concentrate and not wander round the aisles getting carp!! Going to try again tomorrow providing it stops snowing here.
    2. Clean the oven ready for your feast!
    3. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    4. Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job!
    5. Change pet bedding and wash blankies etc.. we don't want them putting you off your christmas sprouts!
    6. Dust round the whole downstairs

    1. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
    2. Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!

Just been to Homebase and bought next years wrapping paper - paid just over £3 for £33 of paper and got giant chocolate coins for 9p each - don't ya just love a bargain

Also popped into Borders as they are going today - very sad for staff - bought a couple of bits

Doing a massive pile of ironing tonight as we have SS over tomorrow and I'm quite embarrased by the size of the ironing pile

DH has a prostate infection so thats good [we were a bit worried]
