Was meant to be going out last night to OHs works party ...got ready and were just about to set off when the snow started again,it was very heavy ans as the party was in the wilds of Derbyshire we wouldnt have made it...shame as we were looking forward to a night out...doesnt happen very often...never mind.

I use liquid...I find it easiest
We've been out at the shops..madness as ever  But I wanted to get out and about in the car as I've not been out since last Friday. So managed to drive about. OH has done loads of snow clearing and has stuck my remaining salt down. NN went mental yesterday with my huge bag of salt and needless to say, everywhere is sold out.
We have taken some photos of the garden and the icycles (sp?) round the house. Will get them on FB
OK, I now need to make cranberry sauce, chocolate chestnut pots, chocolate torte, er sure there is something else
Back later xx0 -

Had a relaxing day so far, only challenging thing was finding coal. I know I should have done it before but as its DH who wants the real fire then he should have thought to get it.
Just going to sort something for tea then maybe make sausage rolls and mince pies. There is nothing to rush for and I am totally at ease with the wrapping all done. There is nothing to do that cant actually be done tomorrow as in prep veg etc so might do it if I feel like it.

gnb - that happened to me earlier in the week in Mr T i put shopping away in the car and then popped back and baought at a different till.
Its ridiculous isnt it? Hubby got grumpy and told them to stick the rest of their shopping too and left it all at the checkout! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

However - are you psychic ???Cos I was thinkiong of you and was going to reply but it was 1 in the morning and I reaaaallly needed to get to bed.
Your post about the calendars struck a chord. DH took the kids out yesterday to get me stuff from Asda. Asda! ASDA!!! ASDAAAARGGGGHHHH not to sound ungrateful but I know every single thing they sell in there and none of it is very exciting. DD1 threw a massive strop and said she didnt want to go, apparently DS had a tantrum while they were there, then DD1 refused to help DH wrap them this morning and DS got chucked out of the room they were wrapping in for being awkward and unhelpful. I am feeling very unappreciated that between them they left it so late, went to the flipping supermarket, and then collectively didnt want to bother putting in the effort to wrap. This morning I shouted at all of them that they could eat dry bread for lunch tomorrow as I would be staying in bed on my own.
BAH!
HUMBUG!
Anyway that was this morning, they've been a lot better this afternoon, just got tea and bedtime to get through then going to collapse on the sofaJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)
