Juliejim - they're in the place next to where you keep the thingymejigs!

My nextdoor neighbour that we don't know that well has just been round with a box of chocolates and a card. The chocolates were to say thank you for taking all their parcels in. I was really touched.....jeezzzz I'm NEVER this emotional.

In keeping with last year - santa is in Bunbury, Australia - I promise I won't make as many updates as I did last year!

We're off for carols in the village at 6 and then it's home and new PJ's and dressing gowns for the children.

    xx

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

kazwookie - how have I completely managed to miss where you are? It sounds as if you are having a wonderful Christmas making a real change for the better. Love and hugs.:D

Toots - Have a lovely Christmas! Rach suggested that we posted our own stars - I personally think that we all deserve five this week!! A special Christmas Star all round.

I'm taking a short break, as I don't feel I've stopped since I got up. I've had a lot of help too. I still have some cooking to do - mince pies, cranberry sauce, and the stuffing to prepare, but none of that will take too long.

DD had to miss work this morning, but although she still has a sore throat, is much better than last night thank goodness. I did ask if she wanted to pop up to the doctor's so they could check it was a sore throat and not tonsillitis, but she refused, and as she hasn't a temperature today, I left it.

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
