    They may well be busier from around 10am up here due to the change in the law regarding buying beer,wine etc.
    Previously I went around 7.30 and picked up the beer etc when the aisle was opened at 8am.
    Now it cannot be sold till 10am,which makes the early visit pretty pointless.

    I went to Asda today at 9am (after visiting Aldi at 8am) and it was fairly quiet and the shelves were well stocked. I would guess the earlier the better and then you have the rest of the day to try to fit it in your fridge/freezer/cupboards! :rotfl:

    Great advice from here- I went at 930 to CHelmsford and it was great- so quiet, not even a queue and no fighting over the veg. I think the snowy weather is keeping a lot of people from driving, especially before the day warms up.

    My OH has decided he wants to go christmas eve so he can get a reduced turkey lol, I will not be joining him on his quest thats for sure!
    2010 resolutions
    1- get my 5yo DD dry daytime, with enuresis help dry since 12th Jan so far!
    2-Lose 3 stone inc giving birth :j baby born 11/02/10! lost 2 stone, 1 more to go!
    3- more moneysaving! sealed pot number 851 :) SAHM getting organised, dont wanna go back to work after mat leave :o :j
