Reading a few recent posts I'm beginning to think there might be some hope of tracking down a Gok set after all? Keeping my fingers crossed! Wondered if anyone had seen any in central Scotland at all (ideally Lanarkshire or Glasgow but happy to travel)?

None in East Kilbride or Hamilton (Palace). Was very little left besides mugs, tiny ruby and millie stacking cosmetic set, lavender and rose gift sets and photo albums.

    Thanks.
  • Anyone know if there is anything left in Southampton?

I have just been to West Quay retail park and there isn't much left, just one side of one aisle. I saw-

    Star Trek stuff,
    The pink hot choc mugs,
The small Botanics bag with minis in,
    Little cranberry sets,
    Some experience bags,
    Purple Extracts bags,
    Lots of different chocolates,
    FCUK men's sports bags,
    FCUK ladies' lip balm sets,
    The lavender sets

There might have been a couple of other bits and pieces, but nothing very interesting. I left without buying anything and that is a first!

What else is left at the Fort? Anything interesting? Anyone know if Princess Street has much left, may be taking a little trip tomoz.

Nothing much, unless they've restocked since 11am when I was up. LOTS of the big silver Chilli Pepper bags though. Pity I don't like them!

Bluewater had chocolate trees, lavender sets, tube tins of biscuits, hot chocolate stripy mugs, belguim chocolates, cranberry sets, star trek mugs, star trek playing cards, wrapping paper, xmas cards.

  • Having not managed to get an order through on the Wednesday morning, On the Thursday morning I was so pleased to see a couple of favourites back in stock I ignored the fact they were showing at full price and placed a order. I guess I hoped that the discount would show up later.

The goods arrived today ( very quick!), but at the full price. I have 'phoned CS, and they are saying the 75% was for one day only and that while this might be the same stock it is a "different line".

I can get it refunded, but wondered if anyone else had tried a more robust complaint - or achieved any different result?

Could anyone please give an update on the Swindon branches?

I went to Oxford Retail Park today and left with nothing. There were a few ratty ends of wrapping paper, some opened survivor boxes and some tatty men's key fob and something? (might have been a wallet) set.

My trip was mostly fruitless - was hoping to get the SportDirect trainers and returned a NYE order to M&S that turned out not to be 2 bargain sofas! (anyone who was hanging around MSE on NYE will know what I'm talking about! :rotfl: Also collected 2 phones from Tesco (ordered on Direct with 1000 clubcard points) A very MSE outing!!

Popped into boots at lunchtime for a bit of a walk more than anything. THere wasnt much there but I did spot the SA near the tills walking away with a basket of things and two of the Extracts bag of treats on her arm, so though it worth walking back to sale section see if she put them out. And luckily she came over and said "does anyone want a Extracts bag I only have two" a few people looked at her oddly, dont think they realised they had been in the sale so I asked if I could please have one, and she also said there was some mens perfume sets. I asked if there were any female ones and she handed me the Scents of Attraction set.

So I was a pleased bunny. So may be bargins to still be had, have to be at the right place at the right time I guess.

Well this was my reply to my 1st compaint

    Dear Mrs ******

Thank you for contacting us about the 75% sale we put on our website. I am sorry to hear of the errors that you experienced.

I can confirm there was an error with our website due to the popularity of the sale and as a result many items were going out of stock as our customers were trying to order them. This resulted in a number of generic error messages being displayed throughout the order process.

As a result this was taken down as the stock levels of the sale items were low or they were already out of stock.

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for bringing your feelings to our attention. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Boots.com team on 0845 609 0055, quoting reference number 6220301.

We have asked a few questions at the bottom of this e-mail, which will help us make sure we have provided you with the very best customer care.

    Kind Regards,

And my second regarding stuff back online but full price

    Dear **********
Thank you for your response to my colleague's e-mail. I apologise for the confusion.

If you click on the sale items now, they should show as being out of stock. Unfortunately, we don't have any sale items left in stock. I do apologise for the disappointment caused.

Thank you again for letting us know about this. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact our Boots.com team on 0845 6090055.

    Kind regards

Feel a third coming on! The cheek! I want points awarded too! :(

You got the same response to me. I phoned them too as I put in my card details 3 times to make a payment but the site kept crashing. I then phoned as I got a bit worried due to putting in my card details. The guy on the phone said all the items were now out of stock. I only have a mobile which is contract so dreading how much I got to pay for the call.

A few people have been lucky and awarded points. We must be the unlucky ones.
