When will I learn not to post on here. Yes I do E-Bay and I do give some of my profits to charity on there, Royal Marsden and Marie Curie to name 2, I am self employed so do declare my profit.
I am newly seperated from my husband and am left with a massive mortgage which I am struggling to pay as I dont want to lose my home. I went to the Boots sale and did buy a few things most of which I am keeping for presents and a couple of them are for me. I did not clear the shelves as some people did. If you had the kind of life I had ( married for 20 odd years to an alcoholic who drank all our money and too scared to leave him) you might not criticise me so readily. I make a few pounds here and there, care daily for my elderly parents and enjoy posting on here and getting a bargain. I am not a monster just someone trying to get buy. I will not feel guilty about selling things now and then if I want to. I should have not written about Haiti and am not a hyprocrite just a 55 year old fat lady trying to get her life together who is now sitting here crying because I am sick of people being nasty to me. If I want to post on here perhaps I will just do it as pm's to people i know instead.

Calm down, I was trying to defend you! I don't even know if that was aimed at me (but it was a response to my post), but keep in mind people will jump your case on here when someone says something that irks them. They'll do that on any forum, and usually much worse than they'll do it here. I've thought better of it and decided to hit delete rather than post on many an item. Again, I thought I was defending you (and I sure don't have to agree with everything you say to still want to defend). It's a hard lesson to learn on here, but you have to be careful because some things seem different in the written word, and because there are a lot of different sensibilities reading these posts and some people will get irked -- and maybe even let you know it.

I didn't say anything to your initial post because I could tell it was an attempt to tell people to put things into perspective, it just wasn't an ideally worded or timed attempt. It put me off, but I didn't comment because I didn't think it was done with any mean spirit. Then when others started jumping on you, I spoke up that I didn't agree with your attempt, but it didn't make you a hypocrite. I guess that was another case where I should've just deleted my post before I sent it (you never regret what you don't post, it's what you do post that can end up stressing you out later). I've gotten very upset from things on these forums, too. That's when I started thinking twice about posting some things, and it's a good lesson to learn if you get upset easily. I'm seriously considering just not posting this, but I guess I will as I'm hoping it helps you in some way. You're not a bad person hon, you just forgot that these sweet, cuddly forums have teeth sometimes.

I am actually excited that I might get to a Boots today that will probably have nothing left anyway! :D but it will be the first chance I have had since the sale started and the order which I got through the "verified by visa" page has not tracked on my account....

I'm not totally without though, as I have a fabulous Bootsing buddy who has done a fab job buying things on my behalf - not to mention my daughter who managed to pick me up a few things too.....

Everyone should have a Bootsing buddy!!

One of my boxes was delivered this morning the other is on a different van out for delivery today  .DHL don't know why they are on different vans.

Have to go to work in a moment so it looks like I will miss my delivery :(

Last week 2 items of mine were in a depot 20 miles away. One was delivered, but the one i paid extra for a quicker delivery, was not delivered due to the snow.

No-one could answer why they were both put on different vans.

    That was DHL too.

I have been to Maidenhead store today....was surprised at how much they had left. Got lots of ITNG toys, Boots branded toys. I also got an Annabel Karmel baking set, Sanctuary Shimmer set, FCUK ladies, Accesorize brushes and a couple of other bits and bobs. Reall pleased as was expecting nothing to be left!

Back to Boots bargains. I dont want to be responsible for closure of the thread. Now has anyone managed to get any more vitamin vouchers today?

No, and i had to actually buy some vitamins today, not happy:mad:
Fairly new to the whole "machine printy out voucher thing," will different machines in the same store, or different machines in another store print out different vouchers on the same day?

Been to Watford H this morning and none left sorry. There were lots of the small ted baker sets, the small floral or royal jelly toiletry bags, small cardboard sets of cranberry etc, mugs, star trek, FCUK mens blue & white bags, rolls of xmas wrap, mini bucks fizz & truffles and can't remember what else, not much more though.

i really miss the old thread but it was getting so nasty all the time. were the sales good near you stmidwife? I couldn't drive after having my section so i didn't get out but i did a small online order.

That must be awkward, I love being able to get out and about. I got what I wanted from the sales, would have liked some toys but that's the law of sod! Take care. x

Not a lot left in Stockton centre. Mainly survival packs, some photo cubes, chilli pepper creams, and photo cubes.

Does anyone know what the stocks are like in Teeside Park?
