I think we should all calm down and stop the name calling. The other Boots thread was shut down and this one will be if people don't stop. Remember the forum etiquette!

arrow.gifPls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

Horsham, West Sussex still has LOADS of stock left! x

Hey! I'm in Horsham! I picked up a Sanctuary box and some Christmas cards just after Christmas but I'll have to pop in there again tomorrow now! Thanks for posting.

When will I learn not to post on here. Yes I do E-Bay and I do give some of my profits to charity on there, Royal Marsden and Marie Curie to name 2, I am self employed so do declare my profit.
I am newly seperated from my husband and am left with a massive mortgage which I am struggling to pay as I dont want to lose my home. I went to the Boots sale and did buy a few things most of which I am keeping for presents and a couple of them are for me. I did not clear the shelves as some people did. If you had the kind of life I had ( married for 20 odd years to an alcoholic who drank all our money and too scared to leave him) you might not criticise me so readily. I make a few pounds here and there, care daily for my elderly parents and enjoy posting on here and getting a bargain. I am not a monster just someone trying to get buy. I will not feel guilty about selling things now and then if I want to. I should have not written about Haiti and am not a hyprocrite just a 55 year old fat lady trying to get her life together who is now sitting here crying because I am sick of people being nasty to me. If I want to post on here perhaps I will just do it as pm's to people i know instead.

I don't think this is the place for detailing your personal circumstances to justify your Boots selling, that is your business I just think you should think before preaching to others about giving to charity. Everyone could come on here as detail the bad things in their life as i am sure the majority of us have problems. It is after all a forum about Boots nothing else.

    Please people - be nice!

Let's not get this thread closed down like the old Boots thread. It's been so nice to have this thread - just like the old days...

and then the sillyness started. Oh yes, just like the old days!! Which is why we lost the permanent grabbit thread.

I'm selfish? Haud the bus! It was YOU who started preaching to innocent bystanders about bloody Haiti and trying to make them feel bad about their Boots bargains. As I said, it's not niced being judged, but to be fair you did start it. I don't know what reaction you expected but this is what you got.
Can we end this please, I'm getting quite embarrassed for you and no one wants this thread closed.

    Point taken
Back to Boots bargains. I dont want to be responsible for closure of the thread. Now has anyone managed to get any more vitamin vouchers today?

Lol.. I'm just about running out of my stashes now. Need to bulk em back up..

And thanks, just pulled drawer out fully and both trays of eyeshadows and that are in there, meaning its just the brushes that are missing, all the shower stuffs there as well.. Even more chuffed for a fiver now :D

Its only 2 little brushes/applicators I think, so not much missing. I would go have a look but afraid I have packed them away well so as not to be found. Cant remember seeing 2 trays, thought it was just one but mine still had cardboard safely round it and its was a long day on wednesday. I was rushing to hide all my bargains that were for my girls. Great you managed to get it for £5. :T
