I agree - I find it a lot slower than other websites 50% of the time. Next manage to cope when they have a sale and it must be a similar if not more amount of customers. At least they have a queuing system too so you know you will be on the website in x amount of minutes which perhaps Boots should think about.

I think I must have had the fastest online order ever.
Ordered at 5.10am yesterday, arrive at 7am this morning.
Free delivery.
Spot on.
I'm not surprised they took it off online either, in fact I think that they may not put in on their next year.
Time will tell, and i'll be waiting.

A couple of years ago, before I had really figured out Bootsing and the MSE threads, there was apparently an awesome 90% off sale where not only was there a good bit left, but many people didn't know about it -- including store staff! I remember that first year when I just started reading the thread, s&g products lingered long after Christmas, too. I didn't bother with them at the time. This year, all the s&g Christmas stock was gone from my local before the 50% off sale even started!

I definitely agree that the amount each person can buy instore should be limited.
Getting your oh to hold your basket while you go round is one thing, filling the whole floor of an aisle and just sweeping everything from the shelf onto the floor is another.

I might email boots too. I'm sure it will do zip but maybe then At least I can stop feeling so bitter!
