Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

Hi Not sure if this will work as it is my first post but really want to know if there is any point in having a look in Boots tomorrow or is the concensus that everything will have gone. COuldn't manage to get anything on-line as it wouldn't work for me at all this morning (had to go off to work for 8:30 am) When I returned home everything has sold out! Shame. So tomorrow I am off and there is a Boots(altricham or Chester a train journey away. I live in Northwich(very small boots shop there). Can anyone offer me some advice on going on that train journey to grab a bargain or two?

Not very successful here boo hoo - got up at 4am and was there as page reloaded only wanted 4 things and was literally 2 mins - straight thro to checkout and kept crashing and crashing and crashing! Got in from work nothing left I wanted - flaming website. I wont bother next year. Well done to those who got the bargains they wanted - I was after the pink hoover for little one but will keep my eye out for another one.
Off to bed for a well earned rest methinks!!

I tried that technique and the SA was very rude and said how dare I even ask such a thing when it's already over 50% off!

Um that's interesting, my OH's got a hatbox to collect, I wonder if it's worth asking the question. Which branch were you in Monkeygirl?

Hi Lisaberry, I was there too, they were still there when I left after 10.30! I was so disappointed there was no NO7 Ultimate sets, had looked on sunday, few left & decided to go there rather than Poole so also missed out on the No7 Indulgent bathing sets that Poole had quite few of yesterday.

Anyway who still has arms left after today, mine feel as though they are dropping off I did 2 trips back to car with 3 bags each time. So pleased to get GOK set for my mums birthday next week but rather heavy with the little bits I bought my 3 DDs for stocking fillers, yes if you saw me I was the one putting 3 of most things I wanted in my basket. Got bits & pieces for my mum 2nd time round she would never have coped, my was it hot! Do remember someone warning us last night but after staying up & getting up early to try my luck online had dressed myself a bit too well as was feeling very cold. But did remember handbag over shoulder, very good tip thanks to whoever posted it. So sorry cant remember who but I need good nights sleep to refresh my memory & Im not searching back through this thread, sorry. Have learned another lesson today buy any NO7 in the 50% sale if you really really want it.

Now have lots of snowies to spend so will be keeping an eye on that thread now, for any good tips. Thank you all for all the fun of sale. :T

Well my store had pretty much nothing in and what was in was chocolates etc really only. Never mind. I did really well last year getting Xmas gifts to put away but nothing this year. Always a long shot - I hope some of you did well!

I was in Loughborough. It's defiantly worth asking, what harm can it do but have the assistant despise you for asking the question and the queue behind you gasp in horror

I had the horrible SA that also refused to let me use the No7 voucher with compact mirror - even though people on here have been able to do it.

Most of that stuff the greedy people took will be on eBay or Car boot sales by the weekend.

I couldn't believe all the scavengers today in Newcastle under Lyme! Though surprisingly enough it wasn't in Boots that I saw them! In Cool Trader I went to get a Friday Fever pizza only to find the woman in front of me grabbing every single one that was in the freezer - about 10 of them!!! And then in Home Bargains a woman next to me loaded up her basket with all the Golden Syrup cake there which was about 15 of those!
Boots was really quite civilized, I managed to get a few bits to put away for presents but nothing big and nothing for myself. Ah well, I'm well stocked after my trip to Lush last week

I have no shame so I'll ask, plus boyf has paid for it so if I can get it for him cheaper he'll be made up! Worst that can happen is they can say no, I plan on avoiding boots for a while now the sale is over anyway lol
