FF - I hear you, I hear you.

Zara barks while I am NOT in, how is the clicker gonna help when I am not there to click it?

I don't know because I haven't read the books Sarabe recommended! But I wouldn't hesitate to do so in your shoes.

FF - will you swap Noah for Zara for w week maybe?

    :D

I got a lot of books at home, could open a small library really. That includes a few "dog" books.

I am NOT a Ceasar Millan fan - although I have several CD's from his series whatever at home.

    I Google a lot too.

All methods suggested involve someoen being at home while the barking happens (leave for 5 min and come back several times per day, pick up your bag/keys and sit down etc etc etc etc) so are not practical as such.

Zara is FINE when I go to work - only this morning she was up on a footstol, with her Lampshade collar firmly pressed against the window looking at me leaving for work. No barking. Just called a neighbour - no barking.

So this is not consistent in the form I leave=she barks.

I leave not for work - she barks.

Why can't you do the clicker training in the evening or at weekends?

What would you rather she did instead? (the answer isn't 'not bark' by the way). ;)

    Make dinner? Clean the flat?
