I have been on a few of them AHM and I used to take mine at night. HTH.

Well done you. They do take a while to kick in but I hope you felt some relief that you were moving forward by doing something positive about it.

Best thing to do with the meds is see how you get on - if it doesn't work for you then take it at a different time.

I'm glad you found your appt helpful and you're feeling more positive now.
  • Just wondering how you're getting on! The new anti-depressants are much better in my experience. By the way, one of the side effects I had was weird dreams, which felt like they were going on ALL night - better than going to the cinema ;-) My GP told me that some medication are stimulants (despite saying may cause drowsiness!?!) so if they do disturb your sleep pattern, try taking them earlier in the day and benefit from the extra energy.
Hope you have a good Christmas!
