hehe - and rightly so! I meant webmessenger (the web based version of MSN messenger) doesn't work via WAP - it needs GPRS to function properly (and a decent phone, neither of which I have :-( )

All MDA's come with "Mobile MSN". Its a no frills version of MSN with only instant messaging.

As far as banning instant messaging on T-Mobile is concern I can not see they say it in T&C.

No you're quite right but it does say 'not limited to' hence why I checked... they were quite clear on the subject and I even got them to double check - so if anyone has another idea let me know = )

It might be only the "Text Messaging" they are talking about. Like there are new services which use GPRS to send texts.

To ensure a high quality of service for all our customers, they are not to be used for other activities such as (but not limited to): modem access for computers, internet based video/audio streaming services, peer to peer file sharing, internet based video download and internet based telephony.

Thats really confusing if they havent listed Instant messaging in here. Besides IMHO Instant messaging takes far less bandwidth and resources than even browsing.
