You could try a vodafone sim only deal.
I'm on the £25 per month deal which gives you 250 anytime x net minutes and £40 extras pack which equates to 1000 texts or data equivalent.
Can you use MSN through a wap browser?0 -
Here is what I used.
I got O2 - XDA 2 S to use unlimited MSN via Wireless. I Used rarely on GPRS.
Since you are going to use it on GPRS most of times so Web n Walk is best option for you, with a MDA style phone.
MDA Pro
MDA Vario etc.
Plus point is you will get upto 40GB data (I think thats their definition of unlimites according to T&C). Best value anywhere. And a wireless capable phone to use wireless broadband as well.
So your selection so far for Web n Walk seems ok to me.0 -
What about using a web based service to interact with MSN? Something like e-messanger, or the one I use at work, meebo?"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

As per another post I made to clarify and I ought to add it to this too, web and walk from t-mobile does not allow instant messaging such as MSN/Skype. I rang 'em and that was the official line anyway.
I'm going to wait for the Vario II and hopefully bb prices on phones will come down too!
2GB is the actual 'unlimited' bandwidth :- (Tim0 -

Why do you keep referring to MSN/Skype? They are totally different things!
It's understandable that they would not be happy with people using Skype due to the lost of call revenue!
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
msn doesn't WAP very well - GPRS only I'm afraid :- (Tim0

dont quote me on this but I think that "Mobile MSN" should work with it.

Not so - both do VOIP, but regardless they are both banned because instant messaging is not allowed on the t-mobile network. If you have someone at t-mobile who's happy to put it in writing that isn't the case believe me I'll jump at the chance to take up a contract = )
Unfortunately all the sales people I've spoken to say no, it's definately banned.Tim0 -

I've never used Mobile MSN which may not have the VOIP in it - but as I've said in previous posts its the instant messaging that is the problem on the web and walk tarrif - regardless of the program.Tim0
