Firefox wont load up

2 days ago my firefox stopped working and everytime I click on firefox it wont load any pages it just says done and its just a blank page. My internet explorer is working fine so it cant be the internet connection, any ideas anyone? I have even restored it to a previous date when it was working and still it doesent work. HELP please:o

I think so yes, I uninstalled it the other dayaswell when it wasnt working then reinstalled it

Thanks for that tried everything it suggested and it still wont wotk, just keeps saying 'done' and nothing is there

yes an update then it was after that it didnt work, so then did a system restore, didnt work, uninstalled firefox, reinstalled and still doesent work, internet explorer works fine though so cant be internet connection

Are you using firewall software? Mozilla suggest problems caused straight after an update might be firewall related - some tips here on the main ones: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Error_loading_websites

Try to check the add-ons on firefox and uninstall all of them and try it.
