Hi there Swinstie - all your talk of housework is making me realise I must get on with the decluttering I've been going to do for the past few months. I made a list but haven't actually done anything much about it! Well done with the healthy eating. As I'm the only one in our household who eats healthily I always make up a recipe for 4 portions, eat one and freeze the other 3 so I've got a healthy "ready meal" when I want one. They come in handy for work lunches sometimes when I run out of my homemade soup.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Put £30 of petrol in car - check!
Keep aside £10 for road tax, £10 for MOT and £20 for insurance to give to sister - check!

Bank currently has £90.59 (after deducting Virgin payment which has yet to come off) and I have £24.70 in my purse = £115.29 total.

    £115.29
    - 56.72 (rest of month expenses)
    - 12.50 (put by for house insurance)
£ 46.07 IN CREDIT BY PAY DAY (assuming don't need anymore petrol)

Will need to remember and cancel my Virgin card DD so it doesn't end up coming off twice

I have loads of food but may have to buy milk/eggs and maybe bread if my bread-making skills are anything to go by. Scared to try it incase it doesn't work out. If I can do my gym classes this will help me stay away from the shops, going to OH's again this Saturday so will be another cheap weekend. Roll on pay-day!

I used to make extra portions of chilli etc, to have at work SA, along with making microwave porridge everyday, but we no longer have a useable microwave, i.e. it's in the canteen and by the time I get back to my desk it's cold. I don't like the canteen at lunch-time as I'm tempted to buy 'extras' so try and stay away as much as possible.

One of the guys in here is sitting eating QS, I was eyeing them up as he was eating them and he thought I was eyeing him up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OMG I have just had a run-in with a neighbour (don't actually know him) but he is a bl**dy freak! Basically I was driving down my hill, just coming up to my drive which is a right turn onto it and this car is right up my erse, so I indicated I was going into the drive. Was getting my stuff together and noticed he had stopped behind me, got out my car and he starts going on about indicating to let people know where you are going. I said, I did indicate, he called me an effing liar and I ended up telling him to eff off! I am flipping raging, and of course didn't think to say, you should'nt be driving right up people's erses. Argh I could scream, if I run into him again, god help him!

Ok, rant over, will need to adjust my figures (again) as remembered had put £30 of petrol in today instead of £20. Carol Vorderman I am not :D

hey honeybunch sorry about your w****r of a neighbour, some people are just born Ar*es!! big hugs!
  • ^^^ What she said! Honestly - some people! When he said about indicating you should have said "I did indicate - are you sure your eyesight is good enough for you to be driving still?!" in a voice of great concern of course.....! :D

Thanks guys, thought it was just me getting worked up, would never have sworn at the guy if he hadn't sworn at me first. Funny thing is my friend who lives across from me had someone park across her drive and has been there all day yesterday, she was fuming! Think we are both on a mission and maybe some tyres might be let down (joking, of course I would never do that)!

Not much else to report, trying to have a NSD for I spent yesterday. My new mobile came yesterday and I'm so tempted to use it, probably would if I could get the back off to get the battery in and hadn't just topped up my current mobile with £10!

Have a great day everyone x
