*Bangs head on keyboard as typed a post and lost it!*
My nose has suddenly become stuffy and threatening to run. Please don't tell me I am getting a cold. Me no want.
What I was in the middle of typing before I was rudely interrupted by the laptop doing stoopid fings, was that I fancy a bath, as I am frozen to my very core. Some would say that I am definitely cold at heart, I would agree this is true when suffering from PMT! However tonight, its just my body that is cold, not my heart and soul. Now that will come in a couple of weeks!! LOL.
Happy Friday, happy weekend with your fella. Drive safe on the roads as its only going to get worse as the snow turns to ice.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

I will drive safe, thanks Mrs GG.
Bath was lovely, if you're having one and have bicarb of soda, sprinkle some in the bath water, makes your skin lovely and soft. Shame about the skin on my face, not much I can do about that though :rotfl::rotfl:
I am a tad hungry but not going to have anything as I can happily say that I have lost 1lb :j. Except, it depends which way I sit the scales, slightly to the left or right and I have put on 2lbs
Now I am trying to be optimistic here so I am going with the lost 1lb verdict as I have been REALLY good since Monday, I mean I have eaten healthyish food, drank loads of water, not had much tea and only had 2 marzipan fruits, a coconut QS, a caramel QS and a square of dark choc (with I'm allowed as it aids digestion). So there!0 -
Well done on the healthy eating. I am trying to eat better. Not diet. Don't do diets. Fail at diets.
I am wasting some time before I go and devour the remaining tiramisu in the fridge....
Thanks for the bath tip. Knowing my luck I'll end up putting salt or some kind of herb into the bath. That's how dipsy I can be when totally tired!** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

I LOVE tiramisu! It's my favourite dessert, they showed you how to make a healthy version on My big fat diet last night, I have it stored in my favourites!
I think I will have to have another wee piece of banana bread just to tide me over, cos I am kind of starving. Keep thinking it's bedtime soon but no work tomorrow cos it's Saturday, yeah.
Not going to the gym as sister not booked in and gym carpark still covered in snow. Gonna try and make it on Tuesday though, I haven't been for about 2 months and paying £21.50 a month to not go is just crazy.0 -
hey swinstie, you my girl are doing fabulously, losing weight as well!! You're putting me to shame!!
Keep up the good work.

Only just got to the last page of your last diary to find there is a new one:j. Haven't read this one yet other than your first post so don't know if anyone has already mentioned this but in your last diary you were returning jeans at £20 and exchanging for jeans at £28 that makes a payment of £8. £120 budget minus £8 is £112 not £102 that you start this diary with so either you have a better budget than you thought:j or you spent another £10 on clothes somewhere but didn't let on:rotfl:.
Anyway subscribed now.

Well spotted on the 'deliberate' mistake SM
I realised I had bought a few 'other' things in the sales after Christmas so decided to join the Crazy Clothes Challenge (I was just doing mines myself) which started 1 Jan 2010, so I gave myself a clean slate of £120 from then, unfortunately I have already spent £29 of that .
Or maybe, cos I got two jumper dresses, one of which OH paid for but not sure about the other one so might return it. Thinking about wearing it today though so if I do wear it will obviously keep it. Does anyone ever buy something then feel embarrassed (maybe not the right word) to wear it because it's not your usual style?
That's what this dress is like, it's lovely but not something I usually wear.
Was snowing overnight but only a light smattering, gonna head for OH's about half one and stop at my mum's on the way, not seen any family (although spoke on phone) since last weekend. Kitchen is a riot, don't want to come home to dishes piled high so better crack on after breakfast (healthy of course). Have a good weekend x0 -
Wearing said dress with my black jeggings and boots with a black fine knit top underneath (it has 3 quarter sleeves) and it actually looks very nice, so will keep it.
Been naughty though, have just ordered a new mobile from Tesco (get 1000 points), it was only £40.97. I have had my current mobile for just over 3 years or is it 4?! Not sure but anyway, it is playing up but still working, so the plan is, if it goes completely, I will use the new one. If it lasts til Christmas (sorry for mentioning Christmas already) but have already asked OH to get me a new mobile for Christmas so he can give me the money back for it. Sounds like a plan to me.
Well just gonna have some brunch as been showering and cleaning this morning, then head to mum's then OH's. Snow is off again thankfully.0 -
Hi all,
Well had a slight spendy weekend i.e. no NSD's but wasn't too bad. Spent £10 last night on drinks out, quite enjoyed the night actually even if it was an early one as OH was working today. On the way home from his, my car tried to take me to the shops but I resisted and did my planned supermarket shop before heading home.
Needed a few bits and pieces and thought would only spend just over £10 but it ended up being just over £30, but I did get loads of lunches for this week and bags of chickpeas etc., to make edinburghers bean chilli, also spent £10 on a mobile top up. So £50 but the grocery shop ended up on my credit card, I meant to switch it but had the CC in before I realised. Will still deduct the amount from my budget though so I can still keep track.
Making lasagna now (£30 included a new smaller lasagna dish), but went into the cupboard to get my jars of Ragu out and didn't flipping have any. Was going to buy them today as well. So went upstairs to get my boots on to go buy some then thought, must be easy to make from scratch, so a quick call to my sister for instructions and it's bubbling away nicely. Just goes to show can make almost anything from storecupboard staples. It's smelling great and I'm starving!0 -
Last update of the night before I settle down with a cuppa and a marzipan fruit, just the one mind
Lasagna turned out nice, had some chips with it but they got a bit crispy as OH was on the phone. I had text to say it was my turn and I'd phone once had dinner but his phone is playing up so he didn't get my text. The kitchen looks like a bomb has went off so gonna have to clean it up and the plan for tomorrow is to tidy out the cupboards, I have got so much stuff I hardly have room for it all.
Will fix lunch for at least tomorrow, bought some fruit and will make fruit salad, hopefully will work out cheaper than buying a ready made one and try and get clothes sorted for tomorrow too. I'm full of plans but most of the time I just make it up as I go along.
Have checked on-line banking and it's looking ok for now, only problem is it's two weeks tomorrow until pay-day so it could all go south quite quickly. This is where my meal planning needs to work as have spent around £75 at the supermarket between last Monday and today. Surely I won't need anymore food!
Will say nite for now as still trying to plough through Lost before it starts, although sure it doesn't start until Feb.0
