Generalissimo is very cod-Italian. It's meant to mean little Generali.
My daughter has hypo-mineralisation. Basically it means that the enamel on her teeth hasn't formed properly and so her teeth are rotting from her gums. The cure was stainless steel caps on each molar done under general anaesthetic. It cost us $5,000 up front although we'll get perhaps $3,000+ back.
Under the NHS, I understand that the standard treatment would be extraction of the teeth leading to a pretty negative outcome cosmetically and dentally.0 -

Outside my house, the only cars getting up the hill are 4 wheel drives, and even they are struggling. A quad bike just went past, no problems for him, but as it's still -5c it can't be as much fun as it looks.
Have yet to see a snowplow. But I bet the unemployed benefits chavs are tucked up nice and warm in their council houses, watching Sky HD on their 50" Plasma sets.
Good to see we have our priorities right.
You have my sympathies for the weather conditions but not for your over generalised twaddle at the end of the post.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Poor little one....I have a friend who has a son with the same condition, he had to have all his teeth out and it has caused untold problems.
I was wrong, we did have snow last night....I was too busy chatting to my friend in Basingstoke to notice!*
*My Pc is based in the cupboard under the stairs, in cold weather I have the door to the front room and kitchen shut to keep warm meaning I can't see out of the windows and usually missing whatever is being thrown down outside :rotfl:We made it! Poor you, Sue, in the cupboard under the stairs!
I now have this very Harry Potter-esque vision of you. With your ex as Mr Dursley, perhaps...0 -

That sounds like a terrible place to live.
Never mind, perhaps you'll soon be able to afford to move to a better area."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

Thaw.
I've just got back from road gritting...does that sound suitably tough and non-girly??
The road there gets no sun, and was lethal with black ice, and its a road only about four people atually need to use, and yet there are bizarre amounts of traffic using it...never seen so many cars there, not even on the day of summer fete. Weird...it must be amoung the most lethal and the most avoidable through roads within a few miles radius...0 -
I've just been out shopping. Waitrose was rammed and I HATE crowded spaces, it makes me stressed and unhappy.
Lots of under-stocking by retailers I think, lots of things already run out on shelves and no more replacement.0 -

Oh joy. I've got this to look forward to later, planning on going tonight.....when there will be even less I suppose. Panic Christmas shopping combined with panic weather shopping....everyone will be buying double the normal double..if stuff actually required to surive at most two days of closed supermarkets.0
