Yesterday was incredible as the one I went to only had 6 customers due to the ice/snow etc. As I walked towards the order area a manager flew over, shoved the crew member aside and served me. Didn't serve the customer behind. Then out came the mop the floors grigade. Then the manager came and asked was everything OK. Then came a girl to ask the same but incredibly then came othe order taker at the drive thru bit still wearing his headphones to ask how I was today and was I enjoying my meal.

On leaving a girl came over as she was standing posted at the door and said the manager had asked her to assist me to my car as they didn;'t want me falling on the ice.

So how did they know I had come by car??? And are they circulating my description round all these places.?? Should I adopt a disguise perhaps.

It's very strange. The one I am off to now though is always busy. So maybe I will get peace.

Afternoon HP,
Given that I gave up a FAB career with GAPBURGERS:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
When visiting (grudgingly with teenage son ie i'm paying :eek::eek::eek:) I shall be looking for a ' HAVE U SEEN THIS PERSON' poster behind the counter.
On a more serious note has someone not suggested that their car reg has been clocked & they have a bit of a floorshow even if there not doing a job.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Some of the other jobs they do warn you that they will look @ cctv & I know that to be true as company came back to verify visit details with me, so I imagine that 'GAPBURGERS' are doing this big time:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

We do indeed. Glasgwegians have a unique funny cheekiness. Think of Rab C Nesbit and Billy Connolly. Their bark is worse than their bite. They put up with nonsense from nobody but would give you their last 5p. You find up here in supermarkets etc everyone chats to everyone else. I have tried that in some places in England and you get a funny look as if you are mad.

Not a go at my southern friends as I have lots of English friends. Even my English friends up here say they are used to everyone talking to total strangers now.

Time you had a nickname madam. You still snowed in. Good. Bambi is your new name.

RE website is knackered again. They have told me that their IT are looking into the problems and that they hope to have it running without the glitches by tomorrow, in the meantime shoppers can hold off writing/uploading their reports.

Mmm maybe that is it. They have clocked my car reg. I remember you telling me one of the Glasgow ones have a list on the wall of what we will order. And why oh why can't I get a decent coffee with my lunch. I am fed up of Fanta.

Anyone have one of the home delivery supermarket jobs on RE - I have a question but cannot get hold of RE to ask....... There are no delivery slots for the assignment date... do you think theywill mind the delivery being next week (earliest available!)

I can't even get answerphone. Trying to contact them as £165 refund from hotel stay has not been processed & I want them to chase it! :mad:

Maybe we could all PM each other with our queries & set up a rota - whoever gets through covers all queries

Good idea gallygirl though I have no queries as I can't be bothered with them. They are truly the Woolworth's of the MS'ing world.

Haha, that made me giggle. I think the only reason I check RE is for the decent meals out. I've even had a meal out at the v v posh shop you were talking about the other week. RE are the only ones I've seen to cover so many different proper restaurants.
