Thanks for that. I'm not a fan of Sassie though, searching on it is a nightmare as they don't have Bristol or Avon down as a county. Different clients end up under different counties and I end up searching the whole UK which isn't very clear.

I prefer Sassie to some others but living in London the available job listings tend to be straight forward. They didn't actually call it Sassie - can't remember the name but just said it was based on Sassie. A system based on Sassie that actually lets you search based on Post Code would be good I think.
  • I'm a bit confused and wonder if someone can help please? I'm doing a visit later today for a lunchtime food shop I haven't done before. The last question on the questionaire is:

"What can ****** do to improve these visits for mystery shoppers? Please ensure your answer is based on being the mystery shopper"

Am I to read this as "what could the shop do better" or "how could the mystery shop be improved"? - am I making any sense? Sorry if I'm being thick, I haven't had my shredded wheat this morning :)

Is it worth emailing ESA to ask if theres a contigency plan for the weather - to see if they will be extending the dates?

    J x

I phoned ESA yesterday and they are prepared to extend dates. So they are prepared for the weather.

Yes, you could be right. I've filled in the "Food Shopping" section and mine says 100%. I did it when I registered with them. Can't remember how I did it though... Just tried it myself and can't open the questions for "Travel", which says 20%.

I did most when I registered but is seems to say 0% now. Not sure if I missed on registering or whether it has just fallen to 0% with the new website. The other possibility of course is that you are in a different part of the country and they don't have jobs where I live...

Can you give us a hint which company. Then I can rack my brains and have a look at old questionnaires as this question sounds familiar. Is it MSE? Sounds to me like it is the mystery shop ie answer clearer briefing notes etc. Or chance your luck and put higher fee.

From the wording it sounds like they are asking how the mystery shop could be improved. If so, that's a great question and should be on all questionnaires!
  • It's for RE, but there's already a bit earlier in the questionaire about what they did well and not so well, so I suspect it may be about the visits themselves - in which case, it's nice to be asked! :)

I have a bit of a fast food Gap problem (other than my expanding waist line due to all the burgers).

I had the brainwave of buying my meal on a debit card, thereby not looking quite as dodgy asking for a receipt, and sure enough I was handed a receipt voluntarily. The receipt I was given doesn't seem to be itemised with the exact food I had and has no Order number or another number the questionnaire asks for (can't recall the exact name of this number). It does have all the rest of the details - time, date etc. Does anyone think this is a valid receipt or could this signal my first strike?

    Thanks for any help!

There is some interesting stuff on the TNS site - the December news letter in the news sections mentions that they are changing the system to something based on Sassie - would this mean an end to released jobs due to not opening the links quick enough? Also talk of new clients etc...

I signed up to their Sassie system months ago!! Never seen any jobs on there though. You need to re-register, your existing TNS login doesn't work.

Am I the only one who has a problem with Gyp and the pizza dine ins. I cannot get them to submit...they come up all red saying I have errors.

The one I did yesterday had NO errors so I sent an enquiry. Got no flaming reply. So I wont get paid.

Tonight I did another and it cost £21.45 and same thing.

Just 1 example. Did you or anyone in your party order wine. I correctly answered NO WINE ORDERED. It came up as incorrect. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So have sent a strongly worded enquiry saying what happened AGAIN and added I have cancelled all pizza dine in assignments I have booked as I can't afford to do them and not get paid. I added I know I will get another email saying no results received...send an enquiry. I said there is little point in doing this when You don't even have the courtesy to reply.

I am peed off with them.

Has this happened to anyone else. Several other questions came up like that when I had answered them correctly.

    Aaaarghhhhhhhh

Well I got an answer back. Says my report has gone into a pending database. An operator may be in touch with you. May.

It is gonna be a hoot if they phone in an hour's time when I am in the queue at the Scottish burger place. Picture it I am half way through being served and my phone goes. I reply "Oh hello Gap how can I help you" Cue total panic in the burger place.
