ESA are extending my jobs for me till Tues too.

I asked about shopping the same place - it has to be 6 months between visits! :eek:

I contacted them at 4pm yesterday both my telephone and email, they sent me a confirmation this morning.

Crikey after extending some of my jobs until Saturday they have just given out the forecast on radio5live for the weekend. Glasgow weekend -20C. And part of the River Clyde in Glasgow has iced over.

I dread to get my next gas bill as my central heating has been on practically 24 hours a day.

Have spent the morning hard boiling some of my eggs for pickling(lovely in a packet of crisps).
Trudged to my local supermarket across the road which is the same brand currently being done for ESA and the supervisor told me that the bare shelves are not just down to non deliveries or panic buying but the top bods had not taken into consideration the fact that they had taken over another lot of shops and had not ordered enough to cover both brands. I had a job to keep a straight face cos it has been making my job easier!lol.

I am off out to do a Scottish burger as it is only 10 mins away. I am beginning to wonder though what the heck is going on. I only started doing them mid Dec and the 1st few were fine. I just casually asked for a receipt and no fuss was made. Since then though before I even ask for a recipt they now say " You'll be needing a recipt won't you"

Yesterday was incredible as the one I went to only had 6 customers due to the ice/snow etc. As I walked towards the order area a manager flew over, shoved the crew member aside and served me. Didn't serve the customer behind. Then out came the mop the floors grigade. Then the manager came and asked was everything OK. Then came a girl to ask the same but incredibly then came othe order taker at the drive thru bit still wearing his headphones to ask how I was today and was I enjoying my meal.

On leaving a girl came over as she was standing posted at the door and said the manager had asked her to assist me to my car as they didn;'t want me falling on the ice.

So how did they know I had come by car??? And are they circulating my description round all these places.?? Should I adopt a disguise perhaps.

It's very strange. The one I am off to now though is always busy. So maybe I will get peace.

I've just contacted gyp to see if they can roll over a few burger for me until next week. The last day for them was today but I'm not risking the ice for a few quid.

Perhaps HP they noticed you were a bit unsteady on your feet due to all the wine you were necking last night and didnt want you falling over in their car park, I'm sure the Glasgow branches have thier reputation to maintain....
