I'm talking about the pizza delivery ones, and also pubs in the more "dodgy" areas which it appears no one will touch with a barge pole! I would love to see an 'acknowledge' button so we can hide the jobs we know we won't do and then don't have to scroll through the same jobs every time we log in!
The pizza delivery jobs are difficult because there are only a small number of local outlets who will deliver to each person so it is harder for them to allocate them but I think the option to hide individual jobs we definitely don't want is a great idea (I think GFK do something like this). I woud worry about how it was implemented by RE though and suspect that we suddenly won't be able to see a lot of jobs we want by mistake...0 -
I seriously thought it was just me that had received the gyp text - I had a query from a greasy burger establishment moaning about timings and today was my first one after that query so I thought they were just reminding me to make sure I was accurate
Still cant believe the venue concerned has queried the times, I realise they are scored on their mystery shop results but I have done hundreds of these now and they have all been accurate to the second grrrr....0 -

I did actually suggest it to them - I think two tabs would be good - one for jobs we don't want on our main page, and one for other jobs. So I could acknowledge all the pizza ones, but if I wanted to look through, click the tab. Maybe if a couple more people emailed and suggested this, they might actually do it!I would've taken two of the pizza jobs if there was a fee but I really don't feel the time and effort is worth it for a small pizza! (I don't actually eat pizza, it would be for my partner

Given the issues with the launch of the "new improved" RE site I dont think it would work? I'm sure we'd all end up not being able to see any jobs :rotfl:0 -

Ha ha yes I have noticed lots of silly errors with the new site! I emailed them about a couple of errors with job acceptance, they didn't reply and someone else snapped them up!
Was anything actually improved at all on the site?? lol. Just awaiting jobs from other new companies I've signed up for - don't like relying on RE and GR!0 -
RE are still sending emails with xmas decorations and holly on... I mean seriously come on it's February!!0

They changed the data entry bit to a flash based thing but seem to have switched it back... Think it was new but not improved haha!
Know what you mean - RE jobs take an age for the fee involved. I quite like GR but its definitely a case of fastest finger first and they dont seem to have that many jobs in my area, I've been signed up with them for about six months and only done seven jobs, and five of those have been this month!0 -

Ha ha I see, bet they wasted a couple of grand developing that flash bit then!
Yeah GR I like but the frequency of jobs is bad isn't it. I used to be with Gap but as I was inactive for a while they deleted my account and don't want me back!0 -

If you've got it set to a large size - eg over 2MP, when you create your zipped file it's going to be huge. Especially in large stores with lots of empty shelves!! I have my camera phone set to "VGA" which is still a good size but when zipped the file isn't too big.
I'm with TG on that, I'm using my 12MP camera and have it set to the absolute lowest resolutions, so far all images are going in to one zipped file with the location name and then a second zipped file for emailling, usually I'm sending just two files with everything in it. If it helps I also use hotmail rather than gmail to send the files (my ms only email address is hotmail). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Shoot, is anyone doing the gym membership for Tern?
Apparently for Q2 you need to have a small child. Where on earth am I supposed to get a kid from in 6 weeks? Talk about springing things on you without warning!0
