I am still new to this, only two jobs so far. Off to a restaurant soon, but I am not sure what the payment includes. It states that there are no expenses paid. Is that just petrol fees or does that mean that I don't get reimbursed for food aswell? The payment is only £10, with a minimum £5 spend and as I know that I would usually spend about £8 for a meal and a drink, that will only leave me with £2 for the job. Is this reasonable as it seems a bit tight to me!?!
It depends who you do the work through but most 'foodie' one's give a reimbursement that should ish.. cover the cost of your food and drink order as per brief.. the idea being that you get a free meal, not paid as well as that.. In your assignment details it should state fee/reimbursement figures.. Personally I like going out for meals and someone else picking up the bill, but if your looking at it as a way of making money its unlikely on these kind of assignments.Christmas 2020 £109

I was under the illusion that I may be able to get items such as clothing etc for free. I think I am wrong however!
If I am asked to purchase an item for say, £25 min. Will I usually be reimbursed for the full cost or just the £10 reimbursement fee? I have the opportunity to buy a major electrical piece of equipment for the price of approx£1000 and they have offered me £10 reimbursement. I guess that these jobs are only useful for those who currently need that item and are prepared to pay £980?0 -

I think these questions have been answered previously when you have asked them. The fees/reimbursements are always made clear in the assignment brief and usually on the 'apply pages' for the jobs.Christmas 2020 £109

I suggest you may want to read the job notes again. I am sure they will say that you are not expected to buy the item and that you can choose something of your own choice within the reimbursement range. They certainly aren't going to reimburse you £980!!! :rotfl:0 -
I've been fairly lucky with ESA by the sound of things... Got 3 egg shops last month, and have been allocated my local pennies shop and a holiday one so far this time. Waiting on 8 x egg shops, a gold one and a drinks audit. I followed the advice of someone on here (sorry, can't remember who!) and put in the notes that I could do X if also allocated Y & Z in same area - so we will see!
I am getting cheesed off with photo jobs at the moment - uploading to site is fine, but when I then have to email them all too, it takes forever... not sure I want to do any more at this rate...Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Sorry all ,its just the electrical shop that is confusing me. It really does ask for a major purchase in a shop that only sells items which are VERY expensive. It also really does only offer £10 reimbursement. This MSing is causing serious confusion to one hormonal brain!0

Google the shop, if there is nothing that you would want to buy in that price range then release the assignment. Most shops sell accessories etc that come into the reimbursement figures.Christmas 2020 £109

Are you sure its asking you to actually purchase the expensive item rather than simply enquiring about it?It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
