  • Quiet for me too. Got nothing booked until Sat when I have a coffee job booked and 2 corner shops. Fingers crossed I get some egg jobs from ESA. Have only ever done 2 jobs for them.

I did a job today for OC, which was nice and straightforward, great fee for quite an easy job. Think I am being more picky though currently as avoiding most RE and Gap jobs.

It's funny isn't it, last year, GAP were pretty pants (IMO) - good to start MS with- but pants! These days, GAP appear very professional compared to RE, at least they are responding quickly to queries these days (well they have mine anyway!) and similar reimbursements to RE, but the questionnaires only take 10 mins and are, on the whole tick boxes.... Mind you, neither of them are in the same league as Tern, GR, GFK etc!

OC = Optimum Contact, I only get offered a job from them now and then but they are nice fees when they do turn up.
  • Hello, I have just signed up and completed the online application for ESA. Can I ask how long it usually takes for them to let you know if you have been accepted. Many Thanks

Wee bit of hope for those you applying for the egg jobs with ESA. I tried to apply for a couple of shops that I had done previously. Message came back to say I didn't meet the requirements. Looks like you can't do the same sites twice in a row. So if you got knocked back last time, you might have a better chance this time.

If anyone does some of the drink audits could you let us know how they went? Still two sitting there for my town but I'm not sure about them.

While I'll admit to being a little peeved at not getting my local '100 pennies' shop....() I do like ESA ...I'll like them even more if I get the egg jobs I've gone for :rotfl:

I've been fairly lucky with ESA by the sound of things... Got 3 egg shops last month, and have been allocated my local pennies shop and a holiday one so far this time. Waiting on 8 x egg shops, a gold one and a drinks audit. I followed the advice of someone on here (sorry, can't remember who!) and put in the notes that I could do X if also allocated Y & Z in same area - so we will see!

I am getting cheesed off with photo jobs at the moment - uploading to site is fine, but when I then have to email them all too, it takes forever... not sure I want to do any more at this rate...

With the photo jobs I've been saving a zip file and emailing that then sending via the site - tbh I havent found to too arduous at all, fairly pleasant work overall really. But I do tend to save everything ms related in to one zipped file on a flashdrive anyway out of habit (I work from two different computers and don't like saving files on to either).

  • I am still new to this, only two jobs so far. Off to a restaurant soon, but I am not sure what the payment includes. It states that there are no expenses paid. Is that just petrol fees or does that mean that I don't get reimbursed for food aswell? The payment is only £10, with a minimum £5 spend and as I know that I would usually spend about £8 for a meal and a drink, that will only leave me with £2 for the job. Is this reasonable as it seems a bit tight to me!?!
