Anyone else getting an error message when they try to validate a report on GfK? Will have to call them tomorrow I suppose if it won't work later.0

Thanks for all your offers of children, however I can think of nothing worse than sitting down with a child (belonging to me or not) and forcing them to eat something they probably don't want, then asking for a comment on how it tastes for a secret report they're not allowed to mention. And what exactly am I supposed to do with it while i'm checking out the gym? Put it on a leash on the treadmill?? No fee would cover that. Ever. I've just got back to them, and they said that they'd check, and if Q1 had a child then I wouldn't need one, so we'll have to see what happens.
I am quite suprised however at how willingly people gave up their loved ones, and was wondering if anyone had a lottery ticket for Saturday as I don't seem to have one of those either.0 -
RE are taking the mick with their latest pizza jobs.
The reimbursement does not cover the spend and there is no fee. They want a recorded telephone call, a photo of the pizza and pizza box and a report completed.
Unfortunately people seem to be taking them and this will be the way they go if they think they can get away with it!

Well, I'm happy to do the job, it's a cheap tea for the kids! I'd be making a phone call to order anyway so what's the difference if it's recorded ?? . . and taking a photo of a receipt and a pizza isn't much of a hardship! The questionnaire was quick and simple too if I recall!
No, it doesn't cover the cost of the pizza, but then neither do Gap pizza jobs .. and RE pizzas are much nicer, LOL!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I can tell you're not a parent. No parent would ever, ever call a child, either their own or someone else's, "it" .We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

My sentiments, entirely!
Pretty much the same goes for all RE MS jobs. No serious MSer can possibly use their jobs to make money. Even on the jobs that pay a fee, I can't get anywhere near government minimum wage!
I do only occasional jobs for RE - and only when and if it suits me.
Incidentally, they are also taking the mick with shop dates. They give us a two-day window (for example) when offering the job. If I ring them to change the date on a job I have accepted, they allow me to pick a date from the following week! In the meantime, they are pi**ing off all their regular shoppers by loading up the job boards with work that has one day of field work left or is expired. This seems counter-productive.0 -

If you are happy to work for nothing (or even worse subsidise the company) then crack on.
As I say the more that these companies think they can get away with the more they will and the fees will become worse or non existent.

why should you get a fee for everything you do? i take plently or re-imb only as its something that i either buy anyway (and so save money) or could not justify spending my own money on (so a free treat). obv you would only take these jobs if its something you want. as tg says its a nice treat for the kids or yourself.
some jobs do take the !!!! but i think the re-imb on those pizza jobs is good if its something you would order anywayMystery Shopping £1147/£2000 (Jan) :j

on an unrelated point, anyone do the burger job today? they were so obviously expecting me, there was a guy standing at the entrance handing out balloons before i even got there to all kids, customers or not! i am now paranoid they are going to argue with my times even though i am know they are right! :cool:Mystery Shopping £1147/£2000 (Jan) :j

Do you think RE say to the pizza company don't worry about paying us a fee for assessing your customer service?
Of course they don't.
RE are just making bigger profits by not passing on the fees paid by their clients. Questioning why should you get a fee for everything you do is naive, RE get a fee for every job you complete and should pass a proportion of that on to you.0
