  • I feel bad for posting an alert if noone else can see the jobs :(
I'm 30 and can see them. Didn't realise noone else couldn't. And the jobs are definitely for March not leftovers for this month!

You have to be a member of the invitation only tns diy panel to see the jobs when they are first offered.

Has anyone had cheques from Edigital from Jan's pay run? They write the cheques on the 20th & send out a few days later, I just wondered if I need to contact them & say I haven't received it!

I've had mine. Cheque dated 19th January but can't remember exact day it arrived. Been carrying it my hanbag for about a week as waiting for bank job so I have something to pay in!

    Depends on the survey really.
Some are a bit long winded and you can be on phone for a while.
The fee is minimal and generally you only get paid for completed surveys. I would estimate I had about 3 in 10 success but for some surveys you get more takers.
The cost of the call is in the fee so you have to off set that on your tax. Beware calling mobile phone numbers....I was once kept on hold by a builder as he unloaded his cement!
Time of day to call is also sticky...in the day people are at work and if it’s a work number or mobile then they often say they don’t have the time. Calling in the evening coincides with meal times , children’s bed times and all sorts. If it’s too late people can be very rude. I never phoned after 7:45p.m as I hate receiving these type of calls myself in the evening so I didn’t want to inflict them on others. Weekends were better if allowed in the client brief.
Some people love them and althought the fee is minimal they quickly mount up. It’s a nice job if you are confined indoors and don’t mind rejection!
Hope this helps. If you read back some of the previous 11 MS threads people have commented before and I would say it’s 50/50 love or hate.:o

Forgot to say check your phone tariffs as not too bad if you get free national calls on home line and have a free quota on your mobile.

I read this with interest to. Calls go thorugh an 0845 number first dont they, how does that work, is the whole cost of the call based upon 0845 number? My mobile inclusive doesnt include 0845 but maybe my home phone does.

I have registered with ABAi, RetailEyes and GAP. Now I am waiting for my first job but I have a few questions and I hope some experiences mysetery shoppers wiill help me
-If I purchase something on request, do I then claim the cost back and still get to keep the item?
-Do you all declare your income for tax purposes?
-I can't find jobs in my area as I live in a suburb. Will I always have to visit the nearest city?
    Thanks guys

In answer to your first question, it all depends on the job and who its for. The brief will tell you. You can always read the brief before you accept a job.
Secondly, yes you have to declare what you earn.
Thirdly, I live in a suburb too but am willing to travel a 20 mile radius for jobs and seem to get quite a few. They're not all in big cities, a lot of them are in small towns and large towns, on motorways and over the phone. Read the first page of this thread - it's very helpful.

Haven't done them for a while so forgot that bit! Some calls are recorded and go through 0845 I think....sure someone else will be along to add to the story.

The jobs are with a posh department store and it says that they will email the brief when I book the job. The only thing it says is that I have to make a minimum purchase.
Does anyone know if I get to keep the items I buy?
