Does anyone know if there are age restrictions or anything on the TNS jobs as I can't see any DIY?

It says you have to be at least 25....

Well I've been old enough for these jobs for about 5 years then! I did see them last time, I'm sure so I wonder what is going on...

I can't see the TNS ones either... and I'm definitely over 25 ;)

I haven't seen most of those mentioned on RE on the alerts thread either... I used to see lots locally but has been the same rubbish on there for days.

Could do with some more work as have hardly anything booked beyond this weekend!

These used to be allocated via special projects team when they had allocators. I think they get posted to some shoppers first and then those that stick around get released to all. :o

Ah, that might explain it, thanks! It would also explain why all the ones I saw last time were in the a**e end of nowhere! :(

I feel bad for posting an alert if noone else can see the jobs :(
I'm 30 and can see them. Didn't realise noone else couldn't. And the jobs are definitely for March not leftovers for this month!

Hi, I hope this is the right thread!!

Optimum Contact have emailed me asking if I want to commit to doing satisfaction surveys. I've read all the bumph they have sent me but it doesn't answer many questions.
Dies anyone do these? If so could you poss let me know what it's like, what kind of times of day you need to call and if the fees are good.

Any info gratefully received as I don't want to agree and regret it!
If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!

    Depends on the survey really.
Some are a bit long winded and you can be on phone for a while.
The fee is minimal and generally you only get paid for completed surveys. I would estimate I had about 3 in 10 success but for some surveys you get more takers.
The cost of the call is in the fee so you have to off set that on your tax. Beware calling mobile phone numbers....I was once kept on hold by a builder as he unloaded his cement!
Time of day to call is also sticky...in the day people are at work and if it’s a work number or mobile then they often say they don’t have the time. Calling in the evening coincides with meal times , children’s bed times and all sorts. If it’s too late people can be very rude. I never phoned after 7:45p.m as I hate receiving these type of calls myself in the evening so I didn’t want to inflict them on others. Weekends were better if allowed in the client brief.
Some people love them and althought the fee is minimal they quickly mount up. It’s a nice job if you are confined indoors and don’t mind rejection!
Hope this helps. If you read back some of the previous 11 MS threads people have commented before and I would say it’s 50/50 love or hate.:o

Forgot to say check your phone tariffs as not too bad if you get free national calls on home line and have a free quota on your mobile.
