Its still shows as scheduled in "My Assignments" so is it safe to do? I know some shoppers are doing jobs only to find they've been cancelled after??
I haven't received one of the 2 days till you shop emails for the last 3 jobs I've done including the TA's, I don't think its anything to worry about, another quirk in a system I hope...!!!!! Have thoroughly enjoyed the TA's.. only problem now is I want to go on all the holidays...!!!!Christmas 2020 £109

Something to share!
On the way home from msing this morning I was listening to Radio Kent (sad I know but useful for traffic reports). The DJ (can't remember who) was chatting about a pen he had that was a camera and USB - I decided that later today I am going to have to listen again on the i-player so that I can get details of said gadget...sounds like it will be a useful addition to the Mystery Shopper kit!
Very James Bond (well in my case Money Penny)!
Update: It's a video camera £39.99 and was advertised in Daily Telegraph.0 -
I did a Pizza delivery for RE in December, and one of my comments was that the Pizza took too long to arrive (they said 45 mins and it actually took 1 hour 45 mins )
I ordered another pizza last night, and they said 45 mins again. Then they rang me back and said that it would be quicker. Then not long after that the pizza was delivered by the manager, along with a bottle of coke which I had not ordered and apparantly was included free as a gift . I am assuming they have marked my address/phone number as "Mystery Shopper" on their files, which may mean I get priority service for the rest of my life :rotfl:Happy New Year :beer:0 -

Now that you can surely use to your advantage :T:T:T:T Its a bit like the floor show @ Golden Arches, ask for a receipt for the sake of it & see them jump thro hoops cos the 'scenario has changed & they don't know the new one ' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I have had a MS day from hell and practically escorted out of a shop
Sorry to hear that, I think sometimes that you have to weigh it all & wonder if its worth it, have had a few situations over the years & thought 'what the ****** why am I doing this & for what ? a few measly quid & a rotten meal
NO job should ever be allowed to make anyone feel as you have been made to feel today. Hope you start to feel better soon .

An earlier message here (can't work out how to link it) says that the number of audits has been reduced, but that poster had confirmation that their cancelled ones would be paid if they had completed them. I have some booked for February, so I really need to know what is going on.
That was me, forget her name, is it Melanie... it began with M - I get on well with her when sho phones. She is easy to understand and I can have a chat with her (she even seems to have a grasp of UK geography!). There is one guy who phones who is quite pushy, I just say yes to everything then try and make them all fit in.
As said, I get on with the local fuel site manager as he has seen me so often and he let me know that the situation had changed.
I'm surprised Gap have not contacted everyone? I've got some booked but a long way off at the moment.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
