When you go to submit your report it says "Did you do the job Yes/No" and if you select "No" it will give you options as to why, and one of them is that the venue was closed. Do that, then on Monday morning phone them and say you went there in good faith, you are very surprised as you wouldn't expect them to be as unprofessional as to send you to a closed venue, and ask for at least part of the fee back for your trouble.
Good luck!
I would also email a copy of the photo before you ring (with job number, etc). I have done this many times with RE. I have always recieved the full fee (no reimbursement, obviously), and it has never affected my status with them.0 -

ive got a travel agent job for gyp tomorrow but I never received the " 2 days till you shop" reminder from them as I usually do. Its still shows as scheduled in "My Assignments" so is it safe to do? I know some shoppers are doing jobs only to find they've been cancelled after??0

I can’t give any details because it would make it obvious which job is was but I was mortified and wanted to cry.
I had a bad travel agents job several years ago. It was horrendous - they were using hard sell to the point where they took expression of interest as an intention to purchase. So much so, that they actually processed a booking, then threatened me with legal action. Luckily, I had used a false name and address, otherwise I would have had more than one sleepless night!0 -

If it's still showing on your "My Assignments" as approved, you should still do it. The two days till you shop email reminders aren't always reliable. I don't always get them, and sometimes I get them for the original date when I have rescheduled for a later date. As far as I know, the only assignments currently being cancelled/rejected after they have been done are the petrol audits.0 -

My worst was a car dealer.
He obviously had major issues with women.
Bully of a man. I lost my temper with him - very ugly.
I came home and wept!
Then looked up how to arrange a contract!:cool:0
