  • FINALLY accepted an assignment this year, a cinema for React for this weekend.

Although having said that when Ted called me to confirm I could accept it I had already received an accepted mail about 5 hours earlier. When I explained this to him he said they'd been having some system problems so if anyone else got an accepted mail around lunchtime-ish you might want to double check with them just incase...

Ooh, I released that, glad it has gone to a good home!

I was originally scheduled to do this last Friday, but couldn't due to the weather, couldn't fit it in this week so had to release.

I love React, real people, helpful, always return calls, and nice client list.

RE mailed me just before xmas about a meal out - they just wanted me to confirm that I really was going to do it so it coud just be that. I am sure if they didnt want you to do it they would have said in the message

Thanks! God knows what she said in half the message, replayed it many times and she talks very speedily :)

Off for my tapas then, yay. No doubt better than the prescribed sausage and mash/steak combo! Anyone else done more than one of those?!

Help a worried newbie MSer! Just listening to a voicemail from RE (left at 16:45) about a restaurant I am intending to go to tonight (quite a kerching re-imbursement, no fee). Answerphone when I call back.

Bit concerned why she might be calling, a courtesy call? Anyone have an idea - bit worried am going to spend this cash and I would needed to have confirmed with her. Not had this with RE before.

They probably are just looking for confirmation especially with the weather situation.

I'm doing a home delivery job for them and they rang yesterday to check I'd placed the order and to make sure I'd picked the right day for delivery.
Here I go again on my own....

    I'm always happy to accept cast-off's :o

I agree, very nice people, and nice clients (although this is the first job I've actually managed to have assigned to me by them, next stop coffee!)

I thought some people might want to read Gap's reply to my e-mail regarding pizza meal deals.

'Unfortunately you are not able to accept any meal deal or use any vouchers during a ***** *** assessment as your assignment may be deemed invalid and payment withheld'

Has anyone else had trouble with ESA and the supermarkets. I rang them and asked them to extend due to the weather no probs they said and it was done. This morning I still had the job in my inbox, went to do today and then now when I've gone to submit the details I find they have released it from my account. I've rang them but it's just an answer phone now. GRRRR
  • Is there a knack to getting work with ESA? I have applied for a few jobs now and have had nothing, not even a mail to say I havent got them, they just dissapear from my applications.

If they are really difficult to get work with then I might just give up on them as I try to plan a few jobs together to make it worthwhile, then find that I dont have the esa jobs so have a 20 mile trip for one vist!

How weird is that - my local eggs shop came up as I applied and low and behold its mine! Nice little one for me as its just a brief stroll down the road so should still be able to do it even if this snow keeps up

Why does the grassroots jobs go so fast? Very annoying as I love working for GR. The q's are fantastic and so is the fee.

I wish GR had all RE clients and then we would earn alot more money.

I think you have answered your own question there. ;)
