Although having said that, I havn't actually accepted any jobs in 2010 everyone keeps beating me to them. I need to get my game face on soon otherwise i'll be pennyless.
edit- this seems to make no sense now, but was actually in reply to TG's post (which has since disappeared) about not seeing supermarkets on TNS.
No shops for you in 2010????:eek::eek:
Best get yourself on RE. Plenty of pub meals and pub drinks.0 -
Just paid my tax bill on line. Now have to get some jobs for this year. Nothing near me on RE .0

Yeah I think it's sheer laziness more than anything. Nearest pub is Sudbury but I can't muster the enthusiasm to drive 20 miles for a meal by myself on an evening. I missed all the sandwichs, retail and supermarkets etc tho because I was at work at the time. I've got a pizza delivery lined up for the weekend which I accepted before new years, but apart from that my diarys looking a bit empty.
Must. Try. Harder.0 -
Just been allocated the 4 'historic' and 'coffee' shops from ESA which I had applied for!
Happy days!!! My faith in ESA is being restored.0 -

I have to say, the thought of it frightens the life out of me too. I feel I would be too transparent, I know nothing about cars. There must be a hell of a lot to write up too, I'm not brave enough yet...think I'm still too new to it all!
The write-up is pretty ok. I suppose it depends on how you do these. I like buying cars and was trained up as a kid to haggle so I quite enjoy them. However, it does depend on the dealership and I get quite shirty when they want to spend an hour or so giving me "an experience". I do try my very best to get the absolute best deal too so it can get quite a struggle but it's what you make it. If you are confident, these are fine to do. I don't think you need to know about cars, just be able to identify the spec properly from doing a bit of research online first.
I think the key thing is to make them pay, if the circuit is too widely spread, I'm not sure it's worth it as the mileage can add up and the fee is in euros.0 -
No ESA assignments for me. Have a royal pub visit tonight for a meal and drinks which I'm looking forward to as I'm feeling rather peckish now.0
